any glitchs, software flaws/imperfections, any phsical issues? Any problems in general? I am asking this because I want/am going to get one tomorrow and I want it to be perfect.

The nice thing about the software is that it's upgradable, so if any issues are fixed in the future you'll be able to get the fixes even if you buy now.

Perfect is a lot to ask, but mine's great. I'm glad I got one early on.

Like others have stated, the software is the best part. The upgradable software is just so attractive. I've had slight problems physically with my DSi. Everybody has their DSi top hinge creak back and forth by about 2 millimeters when pressure is applied. That's normal, don't freak out about it when you see it. My DSi's top corner is very squeaky. The entire back is extremely squeaky.

Overall nothing too major. You're going to love you DSi.

I haven't even had the squeaking issue I've heard about. I'm not sure I'm particularly fond of the new button type, but the software and everything else hardware wise seems quite near perfect. Including the matte finish. :D

Yes you should get it, I haven't found any "glitches" or anything of the like yet. In fact I think the matte finish gets better the longer you use it because the oil from your hands makes it a little "softer".
