anyone going to buy resident evil UC??

it doesnt look that good in gameplay... i mean all you have to do is shoot them in the head and their dead, you dont get to decided where you want to go unless you shoot open a door which you only get a few seconds to react... the wii zapper could make it alot more better and multiplayer you can shoot along side probably

the only way i would buy it if the single player was really long and online play but it doesnt matter to me with the online play with resident evil

Why does a game need to be "deep" to be fun? This is just one of those few games where you can be content by just living the arcade experience. Shoot as much as you can as fast as you can. If you don't like the idea, thats fine. Just don't buy it.

I'll be grabbing it only if it has a sensor-calibration option so you don't need an onscreen crosshair to aim accurately with the Wii Zapper.

(can use the d-pad as the sight or something)

i'll probably get this game, but i'm gonna get metriod and re4 wii edition first, then i'll get it if i'll have enough left over for mario galaxy and ssbb (sadly, i'm on a tight gaming budget, and i want to get the best first.)

I'll be buying this game, hands down. I loved 1 and 0 so much I bought the ports of 2,3 and code veronica... (you're better off ebaying a ps2 and those games for it though... it will be cheaper than finding the gamecube games...)

RE 5 isn't slated until 2009 now... by then xbox 360's will be so cheap that I won't even care if they don't release it on the Wii.

Until then, RE4 and UC FTW.

Games like Mario, Smash Brothers, Metroid and GOD WILLING, a Donkey Kong game (A proper one, not that crappy bang the bongos crap) and a Pilot Wings game...mmmmm Pilot Wings, me wants it.

Well, I've gone on the voting channel a couple times since then (literally twice), but that's it. Pumping out $50+ for arcadey games just dosen't feel right anymore.
I wonder if anyone else feels the same way?

Well, Capcom said they were exploring avenues to make it more than just on rail add on top of that a great story, it becomes a great reasons to buy it.

looks cool not very deep, gore, guns, zombies on rails or not that dosen`t matter need something that is just for some mindless fun and no thinking a why can`t everything be as a arcade rail shooter. God I hope Capcom makes a new killer7 never finished it WoW got me 8P. Anyway I think it will be out in october november or so.

Why would you not get this game? It connects the games and hopefully ends the old plot with it. I'd like something new like re4 did. What has me confused is they skipped 2. Why would they skip 2? It was the best one and I played that one more than any of the others. I'd love to gun my way throught the police station with Leon and Claire. You still have to pay 50 bucks for it, though. Maybe even more if you want the Zapper and it ends up not being bundled with Umbrella Chronicles.

For number 1, probably not but nobodys said anything. Though on #2, you can play with a nunchuck and a wii remote only. All you do with the nunchuk, is use it to limitly look around. The wii remote you just aim and shoot. The zapper is made just for *somehow?* better precision. Plus, the zapper is just a holster, and not another controller.
