anyone having trouble with there R button?

my R buttong doesnt work and i bought mario kart 7 but i am unable to drift. so this makes it hard for me to be able to win online because everyone is drifting and getting mad speed. so i created a community called R BUTTON BROKE. if anyone is having trouble with there r button and wants to play some fair races online then come join the community i just created 06-7001-4934-0888

I would highly suggest you get your 3DS fixed instead of playing the game like it's not intended to be played.

I thought I was crazy when I started noticing the R button randomly not responding...

i just sent nintendo a message asking if i will still have my ambasador status and my downloads. so if they respond and say yes to those questions then i will send it in.

Did you try cleaning it with a toothbrush? Seriously, I went on Nintendo support and that was one of the things they had listed for how to clean buttons that don't work. I was having problems with mine not working at all, I tried that, and it worked right away. Not guaranteeing it will work, but it's worth a shot. Oh, that's got to be a dry toothbrush btw. Don't use any alcohol or anything.

My only problem with the R button is I accidentially press it a lot when I'm trying to turn wireless on, and then I have to turn the camera off. Other than that, nope. Like others suggested, contact Nintendo for Nintendo related product problems.
