I'm probably never goin' to buy a GH game. The franchise has just been so milked lately that GH doesn't have any charm anymore. If I ever decide to get a music/rhythm game, it'll definitely be Rock Band 2.

I think me and 7 other Wii owners are playing it, lol
GH5 is at best a B to B+
GH5 with the free GH Van Halen offer is an A to A+
so, considering that, i'm fairly happy now, but i'll be extremely happy when GHVH gets here
I got GH World Tour last but I am sorta done with the franchise. I like it but am tire of it. I might get GH Van Halen though since they are my favorite band.TheColbert
wait a minute, Van Halen is yourfavorite band? NO WAY! :o
I thought it was Van Hagar :P

I like Van Hagar almost as much as the Roth days but its just not as good. 5150 is a great album though and I think they should of featured some of the post 1984 songs in the game. And whats the deal about no Michale Anthony, his backing vocals were major in Van Halen. Still I looked at the song list and playing songs like Eruption and "I Can't Wait To Feel Your Love Tonight" will be really fun:)in this economy who can afford this game most people would rather buy a few songs for the games they already have
I was done with those games after III came out.
Lost it's appeal, at least to me... and I don't have friends constantly coming over to play, so I never got into the whole "band" thing.
I play Guitar Hero 5 all the time. It's my favorite music game by far and I have all the console Guitar Heroes and Rock Bands (also Karaoke Revolution but that franchise doesn't even seem like its trying anymore). The tracklist kind of sucks but with the ability to import songs from other Guitar Hero games and about 170 songs available to download it makes up for it. Yes they have put out too many Guitar Hero games but people can always igonre them, the official once a year updates are always worth getting.
I agree the economy has alot to do with the sales, I've got it and I can't wait for van halen to get here :D as for GH5 I rate it an 8.0in this economy who can afford this game most people would rather buy a few songs for the games they already have

I have it, but haven't played for a while because I'm playing, Mario & Luigi for DS, and Speed Racer for Wii (well worth the $20 bargain bin price). GH5 is a great party game, and it is superior to the other GHs because you can have more than two guitars going at once.
