Anyone losing interest in the wii besides me?

I read the thing for the wii at E3 and hoped that they werent going to announce another kiddie game. Well not only did they announce a kiddie game but Shigeru Miyamoto was the one who was demonstrating it. Now i respect him as much as any nintendo fan but seriously? I thought he would be doing something on Zelda or Mario. After seeing that i have almost completely lost interest in the wii. I have seen all of these game previews and almost none of them are for hardcore gamers (except the one about the chainsaw guy i think its Madworld). All of these games that are geared torward little kids and casual gamers are starting to annoy me. I want Zelda, Metroid and Mario but what i get is Wii music and Animal crossing. I know that all of the games i want to see had games come out for that franchise about a year but an announcement or preview would be nice because the only reason i'm holding on to my wii is because of those game franchises.

They did announce that the Mario and Zelda teams were working, also, Miyamoto himself mentioned that they're working on a new Pikmin game.

Do some research first next time. Look around on the boards, search Google, go to the news sections of game sites, etc., because otherwise you'll look bad.

And why would they bring Pikmin of all games back they should get Kid Icarus like everyone wants

Then you have to see that your expectations aren't realistic. It's like seeing a movie today and hoping for the sequel to be out next month. It takes a long time to make a video game---years---especially of the quality that Nintendo games have.
