Personally I think it's another useless gimmick to get us to spend more money, but that's just my opinion. I've already got RE: Revelations preordered though:D

I'm getting the circle pad pro with Monster Hunter Tri G (if it is localized), and I'm buying Revelations in March.
I already have the game and I finished it without the circle pad pro and to be honest I had no problems playing it. I'm not going to bother with the circle pad pro I just think it makes the 3ds more bulky.
I might get one. I have not decided yet. I would not get it just for Revelations but I plan on picking up Snake Eater as well and it might be a worthwhile investment for both games with the possibility of more games being compatible with it in the future.
Well, I'm not getting Revelations tomorrow, but I don't plan on ever buying the circle pad.
I hate that thing. @_@
Most definitely won't get the Circle Pad Pro -- I see no use for it.
I'm still on the fence about Resident Evil. I want it, but I kind of don't think I'd enjoy it.
It can't be useless since it improves the game a lot.Personally I think it's another useless gimmick to get us to spend more money, but that's just my opinion. I've already got RE: Revelations preordered though:D

Not necessary. And since it seems to be Gamestop exclusive then that's a big hell no.OreoMilkshake
I don't feel so strongly about Game Stop but that is also why I did not get it. I already had the game on preorder elsewhere and didn't feel like having to order from two different places. I plan to get it eventually--or a thirty party product that does the same--but I think I will be fine playing RE: Revelations w/o it.
I have it now but I didn't really plan to use it on Revelations. The controls are fine as it is and the circle pad doesn't necessary improve on anything or make it worse. The game didn't seem to be made with the circle pad in mind.
However I do plan to use it on Monster Hunter games if they get localized. Playing those games with one analog is a nightmare. (PSP iterations come to mind).
i tried getting it today. but the dude lied to me, said my reserved copy came with it. it did not. also the store was out of them
i'll get one eventually
oh also, gg capcom at misspelling Revelations

I even seen two more typos in the beginning of the game. Capcom really should do some hiring in that field.
It can't be useless since it improves the game a lot.bonesawisready5Exactly. Whenever Monster Hunter comes out, it'll be way more playable with two sticks. People did hack it with one, as the PSP proved, but it also started that awful 'claw' grip that would ruin hands.
I got the circle pad pro today along with revelations, the thing looks so nasty on my black 3ds , now i cant fit it in my case, and it really doesnt feel that much comfortable playing the game. I regred buying the thing, maybe i will return it in few days its a waste of money.
I purchased a circle pad pro and to be honest RE is a lot better with it. Not there it doesn't play fine without it but that extra move and shoot is cool.
edit... I should also have mentioned that having it on while playing other games is better as well as the extra bulk of it makes holding the 3ds much nicer.
Exactly how I feel. RE is just fine without but I like running aiming it allows. It's more comfortable too but I do think it coulda been better.I purchased a circle pad pro and to be honest RE is a lot better with it. Not there it doesn't play fine without it but that extra move and shoot is cool.

I decided to play with the circle pad exclusively and this game suddenly feels better with it. It allows much more freedom in movement while aiming compared to standard. Much more convenient when using the Genesis.

Its not a gimmick, with the control scheme for kid Icarus, the game is unplayable without it for anyone that is LEFT handed. I never buy accessories, but this is one that is actually necessary for better gaming
I got it yesterday after I picked up my copy and I have to say the game is SOOO much better with it. Being able to control your character and camera at the same time adds even more strategy to the game play. It may look fugly, but I'm beyond pleased that I got it. :)JoeInWonderland
After a few hours playing Revelations, I am thinking I might have to pony up for one too. The ability to easily aim while backing up would make your tactics make a lot more sense than the "stand in one spot, unload your clip" strategy the current control scheme lends iteself to. You can back away while shooting but it's sort of awkward. I still think it plays fine but it could be better.

Not to mention it's just fun to be able to hear something creepy around the corner, turning you character and camera to where you will be ready to fire at will if something pops out. You walk sideways to look down the hall... only to have them pop out from the side you thought was clear to begin with! I can't stress it enough, it may look bulky and whatnot but it's not just a gimmick. (not to mention... WHY do people prefer gyro control, it's 10 x's more sloppy than the CPP aiming.) Looking forward to using it in further games. IT'S LEGIT!
