Anyone tried FFTA2?

i've been trying to stay away from FF for awhile now, i got hooked playing FFVII again on my PS3, and then FFTWotL on my PSP and then CC...wow...that took up ALOT of hours of my life.

but something about this one is calling me...i almost dusted off my GBA SP to play the first FFTA..i think im getting eager for it

I bought it this morning (and am restraining myself from turning off the computer and going to continue playing) and am HOOKED!! The game is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! If you're an FF fan or an RPG fan (or neither and just want a good DS game) then this is a 100% MUST-HAVE! It's my current favorite DS game (and is unlikely to be replaced soon, very VERY unlikely).

I dunno, I don't know much about this game, I played Luminous Arc but I thought it wasn't that good. Aren't the games very similar?

Ahaha, I think this is the second time I'm quoting you for the same thing, but I'm also very torn on the issue of getting either TWEWY or FFTA2. I...just...don't know.:?

I got it this afternoon. I've only played it for about 3 hours, but I'm in love with it. If you liked FFTA, you'll definitely like this one.

I know I made a thread earlier saying I wasn't too excited for this, but I also mentioned that I'd get it regardless because I'm a fan of the FF Tactics series.

Well, I have to say that it's a more polished and refreshed version of GBA's FFTactics Advance, which should be obvious. Although I still prefer a more mature story and still dislike the law system, it still is a good game. It's still won't take the crown as my favorite tactic game, but it definitely is good for series' fans. Like I said, it feels very polished. Basically, if only this version came out instead of the first GBA Tactics Advance. This is what the FF Tactics Advance should've been like.

Anyway, that's my impression. The price still sucks but...it's a Square-Enix game I guess, so oh well.

By what people say it's pretty good :)

Haven't played it personally, I'll probably get it for Christmas. I loved the first FFTA though.

It's alright. I've been getting a little annoyed with the judge system when doing clan trials. One trial says you can't use ranged attacks to win it, which I was following to the letter. Then one of the enemy creatures used charm on one of my characters, who subsequently fired off a blizzard spell, losing me the trial. That was annoying, but I tried again. This time I was down to the last enemy and I got a critical hit on them. This knocks the enemy back, and apparently counts as a ranged attack, because I lost the trial again. That got me annoyed a bit...

the game is awesome in my opinion and you will like more if u like the GBA version its awesome !! i like it way better then WOTL lol in my opinion and for the people trying to decide betweeen TWEWY and FFTA2 it depends if your into strategy or action ,,fast or slow paced if you get my drift...lol

i really enjoyed it!! i hoghly recomend getting it!
