Anyone use it? I use it cuz it came with my Wii and I couldn't figure out how to take it off initially lol. I've dropped my Wiimote from high places and it had the jacket luckily. It's kind of a hassle and ugly, but I'm pretty clumsy.

I use it (unless playing Guitar Hero). It makes the Wiimote more comfortable and I am a man that can appreciate comfort.

i use it. I tried not using them for a while and found it too hard, even though i like how the controller feels without it (it makes you really realize how small the wiimote is).

I hate it.

It's a mushy, useless abomination.

Mushy? Are you only referring to the part near the IR? The rest is fairly thin I find, except for the ridges along it which seems to function as a hand-message.

I mean more in the fact that when you grip it it moves a little because it's just a jacket and not actually part of the Wiimote.

It reminds me of those big covers they make that old ladies have on their steering wheels and you have to park Nana's car at Thanksgiving and there's a quarter inch of give between the cover and the wheel. You end up taking 10 minutes to do it and everyone thinks the reason you took so long was that you stole change from her center console.

It would be one thing if it was actually PART of the Wiimote but all sleeves have give and I just hate that feeling.

I understand. I guess I'm just not as bothered by the fact it moves as you are.

By the way, that was the single best analogy I've ever read on these boards. If I ran a Awesome Analogy Certification Facility, I would certify that one. Fo' sho'.

Thanks lol

I'm just picky, I know I'm the odd man out who hates them this much. Heck, I'm probably the only person in the world who hates them this much.

That is one of the most creative "if" statement Ive ever read on these boards... If I ran a Creative "If" Statement Awards Show, yours would be the big winner.

Jackets keep the shockingly white Wiimote from getting dingy.

Well, then I'm as odd as you are, because I hate those things.

Besides, they would interefere with the rechargable battery packs that have in my remotes. I don't even use the wrist straps.

I binned most of mine (Nintendo sent more than they should have :? ), they are ugly and I didn't find them comfortable plus I have no probs gripping the controller, I just wipe my hands every so often.

I use it on my second controller to differentiate at a glance. If you've got a few in different colours they can really come in handy if buddies with their own Wii-motes come round.
