The topic is pretty much self-explantory so here goes:

1. Skype support (They already have a microphone and two cameras. Its like a match made in heaven!)

2. Facebook and Twitter apps (Uploading pictures to Facebook is great and all but I'm talking about a more ala Zune HD sort of app)

3. Netlix. Here's why. If its techincally possible on the DS, then there's no point not having it on the DS. Especially with the high res (854x480) screens people are touting all over right now. And the ablility to transfer videos to the DS and play them natively wouldbe nice too :D.

4. Continued Flipnote Studio support (This one's a no-brainer)

5. A full fledged camera software with advanced picture control settings like White Balance, Metering, Resoultion, etc. I gues they can keep the gimmicky lenses too.

6. A Youtube app or if possible, full Flash 10.1(10.1 allows GPU acceleration so its possible on mobile devices) support in the browser.

So.... What do you guys think? Anything to add to this list? I think it would be stupid for Nintendo to not have any of these features....

Wow... That would be SOOOO amazing if it had all that. I would gladly pay $300 it if it did half those things. Great ideas man. You should work for Nintendo ;D

Nice list, a 3D flipnote studio would be awesome. I'd like to see a comic book service as well. I love it on my PSP, but I don't really like my PSP much and would rather only have to take 1 portable with me when I go places.

Only problem with the Netflix thing though would be, I'm sure Nintendo wouldn't allow any R rated movies.

How about an actual VC for gamboy games? Nintendo screwed the pooch and missed a wonderful opprotunity with the DSi.

Now that definately would top my list. I'd like to be able to download and play (legally) GBA/GBC games on my DSi especially since there's not slot-2.

I'm assuming when you say "we don't have Netflix here" you mean you live outside the US. So do I but you can always pay through credit card so its not really an issue.

That would be crazy, crazy expensive. Not to mention, I wouldn't care to use more than half those things. I just want my handheld to play games.

How would the addition of software make it more expensive? All it requires is a firmware update/download. We already know that the 3DS might be almost as powerful as a Gamecube so there's no reason not to add stuff on the software front if it can handle it....

I want to play Music since I carry my handheld everywere and the more it does the less I also have to take with me. The DSi has it and I love using that feature on my DSi.

Yeah. Is it really instant stream? Or it depends on your net speed? If it depends on net, I still wouldn't use it so I'm not bothered by it.

It is instant stream if you have a 1Mbps connection or higher for standard definition. But you can wait for stuff to buffer though.

My bad then... So what exactly is the procedure then? Is it not possible at all outside the US?

You need a residence in the US to send the physical disc to

Then depending on the plan you get you either get a certain number of hours of content online or unlimited content online

ColdP1zza

That isn't up to Nintendo at all, thats Netflix. They put what they want on the service, Nintendo can't stop them from doing that.

Keeping Nintendo's design philosophies in mind, none of those things are necessary. A FB/Twitter app seems like it would be a good fit, though. Flipnote is likely to return.

What's missing from the list is some kind of online store for downloading games, but that's probably a given.

I totally forgot about that.... I can't believed I missed it:o! OK, so here goes:

7. A revamped DS Store with a better search feature and the ability to rate games. Plus, the experience should be much more seamless than its current, clunky self.

Thanks King.
