Outside of ice-9 (which originates from a fictitious novel) and All-ice Alice, the stories seem almost believable! Any thoughts? BTW this game is incredible and don't let the M or relations to the movie SAW scare you. The worst it gets is graphic descriptions rather than pictures :P

I believe most of the stuff that is explained is fictional... But I could be wrong... All may have some related theory I would imagine... But I am on the same boat as you (no puns intended)... Kudos!

For that reason, and just few million more :P I haven't enjoyed a game like this is a while! It's really no different than a really really good book! Plus you get to solve riddles/puzzles and the such so it's a mix of Professor Layton and the best book you ever read :P Well, as a puzzle game, there is no better than Layton but this one stands well on its own! One of my fav games :D

Of course everything is real. Don't let the fact that any bomb in your intestines would be expelled in your first dump! There really was a ship with people blowing up and killing each other over doors.

If you don't mind reading a LOT. And I mean a LOT. It's like reading a book, really. Incredible story, great atmosphere and gameplay. Plus, has a lot of replay value for an adventure game.

For me it was easily the best game this year. Keep in mind that I have a pokemon addiction, so this means a lot because, you know, HeartGold.
