I agree, but 99% of Xbox games and a 100% of 360 launch games didn't look that good either. Team Ninja just knows how to make great looking games on any platform, what they're doing with Metroid on Wii is a great example of what they can do.

I don't even think Metroid:O M looks that good.
They relased a couple of high-res screens that look ok, but it's nothing too impressive (even for the Wii) imo. And those screens look extremely better than anything even the great Nintendo has released thus far. I could be incorrect, but I would lay money on the game not looking as good as that,

I just don't see it looking that good when the supposed gameplay "action" moves (Samus grabbing the purple lizard, and blasting his head) doesn't look anything close to that. I call photoshop BS by the developers!
When it comes to actual character models and such, I have to agree that I don't think I've seen a Wii game to match Team Ninja's Xbox offerings (Ninja Gaiden and the Dead or Alive games). That being said, I actually think there are Wii games that have done a superb job with things like level design and have created an overall atmosphere that surpasses those games. For as much of a looker as NG was, there wasn't a lot to interact with, and I think that has to play a factor in all of this. It could also be one of those situations where one looks at this and comes up with a conclusion depending on whether that person is more of a fan of photo-realism or a fantasy-style of visuals. As for Other M, let's remember that this game is still in development, and as long as Team Ninja and Nintendo is trying to tap into the system, I think the results will be pretty darn good once this game is released.
Now, as for the main topic of this thread, it's all about what your expectations are and what games you're looking at. The visuals of the games on the Wii aren't anything you haven't seen before, but there are some titles that can serve as some nice eye candy. Chances are that you won't mind if you're playing some of the best games on the system.
