are there any ways to connect the wii to the internet via a landline instead of wirelessly? i connect my 360 with an ethernet cable and it works perfectly. i try to connect my wii to the internet wirelessly and it works maybe 20% of the time. it's extremely annoying having medal of honor heroes 2 and battalion wars 2 and not being able to play them online because nintendo insists that i use a (somehow) flawed wireless system.

Change your channel to 1 or 11. It fixes most connection problems.

Also, you could buy a USB ethernet adaptor.

Well you could get a Wii Werid LAN adapter and connet it to a enternet post thats wired to your modem but I go with checking your channels first...

I ran into a problem with the Wii Internet. I have a 2in1 Modem/Router and my box was set to Modem only so I couldn't connect my PS3 or Wii. After changing it to Router everything worked out smoothly.

thanks. i'll check my channel settings even though i'm pretty sure it's already set to 1. if that doesn't help, would the usb adapter work even if the channel wasn't 1 or 11 for some reason?
