Are there any plans to bring more Resident Evil's to the DS?

I haven't played my DS since i was an avid MP:H player back when it was brand new. But i recently picked up a new DS lite and Pokemon, and i'm loving it.

My question is i love the RE series and loved Deadly Silence. Are there any plans to bring RE2 and/or RE3 to the DS?

(my bad if this is constantly posted a lot or it it is common knowledge whether it is coming or not, i haven't been "in the loop" with DS news in a long time. Like i said, not since MP:H was huge.)

Resident Evil: Deadly Silence was surprisingly good, I thought, so I'd love to see another of the PS1 Resident Evils brought to the DS. Haven't heard any announcements, but I can always hope...

RE2 would be brilliant, of course... I didn't like RE3 that much on console, but it would be perfect for DS as a portable: multiple endings & touch-screen multiplayer mercenaries? I'd buy that in a second!

I'm not sure if its true or not, but I think they said that RE DS did better than expect and they were thinking of either porting another or building a new one.

Not sure if its true, though.

Well without an official announcment this is about the best answer i could have hoped for from this thread. Sweet.

I could see a RE2 on the Nintendo DS. I was acutually quite surprised to see how nicely the first Resident Evil turned out on the DS. It was a very nice port.

Stay tuned, is all we can do.

I love Fatal Frame, but I don't think it would work too well on the Nintendo DS sadly. :( I don't see why we couldn't see a Silent Hill (1st game) ported over though ;).
