Seriously. It seems like it was pretty awesome in the beginning but now they barely put much up there anymore.
Where's Majora's Mask. :x

Funny. I have about two thirds of that with my digital collection on my Wii. lol But I am proud of the VC so far. :PI play the VC more than my retail games, and I have over 60 retail games ;)

So because you want 1 game, they're not trying? PS, Majora's Mask can't go onto the VC because it used the N64 Expansion Pak.Seriously. It seems like it was pretty awesome in the beginning but now they barely put much up there anymore.

Well, do we know this for sure? I mean, Mario Kart 64 used the memory card for some options and it still made it on there (and yes, I know the expansion pak gave the N64 a bit more juice to run games like MM).
And even if it's not released, I have the Collector's Edition disc to fall back on anyway.

The Expansion Pak literally changed the hardware to the point that it was no longer an N64. Sure, it looked like an N64, but the changes in RAM, resolution, and frame rate are dramatic enough to keep games like Donkey Kong 64 and Majora's Mask from being on the VC... Unless, of course, they update the VC. Problem with that, though, is that it would cost them money and it would only apply to a certain number of games, many of which are 3rd party.Try some of these games below to feed your need.
Super mario RPG: Legend of the seven stars
Legend of Zelda
Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past
Zelda II Adventure of Link
Paper Mario
Punch out
Harvest Moon
Metroid
Super Metriod
Ninja Gaiden 1,2 & 3
Donkey Kong Country
Dounkey Kong Country 2 & 3 (not sure if DKC3 is out yet.)
Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong Jr.
Sonic The hedgehog
Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros. 1,2,3 & Lost Levels (SMB2 in Japan)
Castlevania 1 & 2
Hope these help

Complaine, complain, and complain. Why do people complain so much about the VC. There have been many great games released.
Honestly first its wheres mah SMB3, then it was where mah SMRPG, and now its either wheres my castlevania 3, or Zelda MM.
some people can never be satisfied

The Gamecube could have run an emulation as well. But on the Zelda Collector's Edition, they tried to port MM using the original N64 specs, and the result was not great. People complained about slowdown in Clock Town, random glitches, crashes, and other bugs as well. The fact that they had to port it without using the Expansion Pak suggests that there is some kind of problem when working with it, and I doubt Nintendo wants to go that route again. They want to keep VC games as true to their original form as possible, and it seems that they're having problems with it, or just aren't going to try altogether.Seriously. It seems like it was pretty awesome in the beginning but now they barely put much up there anymore.

webbut
They put one game every monday with few exceptions just because the games the put up arent the one game you want doesnt mean they arent trying.....explore some old games u havent played before....i just purchased punch out a couple of weeks ago for the 1st time and i loved it. why not buy something like Gradius 3 for the SNES or something random like that webbutI'm very reluctant to buy games on the VC i'm unfamiliar with. If you don't like them, there's no way to trade them in or get your money back. So I'd rather see games the I know I want to play that something that might have been good but was forgotten over time. I've wasted enough money on games that were supposed to be good.
It's great to see them releasing new games every week, but can't they release the popular, in demand games more frequently?

yeah, but the memory card options didn't make the translation to the VC.Please Log In to post.
