Are we ever gonna get 3D movie playback?

I am just sick of waiting... when are we able to have our 3DS to play/record 3d clips? Maybe sometime soon when this technology is outdated and every other device can play 3d clips!

I will agree with you that it was crappy of Nintendo to sell the 3DS with promises of recording 3D movies, and all of these games that won't even be coming out until the end of the year.

But the 3DS hasn't been out of the gate for too long, just a couple months. If Nintendo really gives a crap about 3D video, then I am sure we will get it within a year of the system's launch. If we don't, then I think it's safe to say that Nintendo doesn't really prioritize the 3D of the 3DS and used it to sell a new system with gimmicks.

A lot of stuff is still on the way though. Netflix streaming and the 3D movie service were two things Nintendo already mentioned. The 3DS may or may not receive more system updates in the future that add big features like these.

How is it common knowledge.

You said that Nintendo said it was coming, so I'd like to see where they said it.

They said they would bring out 3D movies with Warner Bros and another studio. Would be nice, if it ever happens.
