Its hard to say. The system is great and all but, there are games out that just dont interest some people. In my eyes,Nintendo is in a slump, but hopefully they'll be able to regain their composer and put out some games that will catch a ton of people's attention.
It's just poor efforts from some 3rd party developers and Nintendo's high focus on "other" games (I don't like the word "casual").mkDSpro63it's totally the third party that release the garbage games look at the last couple Ubisoft & Activision Wii titles (all release in the last month Imagine Fashion Party My Fitness Coach Monkey Mischief NPPL Championship Paintball 2009 Imagine Party Babyz and just the ubisoft titles we miss out like Prince Of Persia, Far Cry 2, Tom Clancy's EndWar it like the last 2 months
the bad thing about it they don't get half the crap games in japan that we do here and then all the really good wii games from japan we have the smallest of chances getting here nintendo america sucks. Iwata and Miyamoto should come to the states and kick reggie's ass for being stupidFleeman6019

Lets look at Fatal Frame 4 its been out 5 months in Japan and still has no America release date it might be time to worry about it not coming at all then there's Monster Hunter 3 we haven't seen a console version of monster hunter in North America in almost 5 years. Monster Hunter 2 sold 3 times as many copies just in japan then monster hunter 1 did worldwide and it never got released in the states. As for the crap games look up any shovelware title released in the states and about 99% that game will not have a japanese release date because its never going to be released there.[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"][QUOTE="Fleeman6019"]the bad thing about it they don't get half the crap games in japan that we do here and then all the really good wii games from japan we have the smallest of chances getting here nintendo america sucks. The sales have fallen dramatically since it was released. Considering that it usually has a very strong Japanese audience if they're not interested in it what makes sense to bring it to the US right now?
Also Monster Hunter is Capcom, why would you be upset at Nintendo for what another company is doing?

The game didnt sold as much becouse it was buggy, and had to be recalled. When a certain condition is triggered, the game can lock up. There are also Ghost entries in the database that remain blank, and an extra option unlocked after the game is cleared that is unselectable. My guess is that they are trying to fix it and probably was pushed back to add MotionPlus support. The system is in a bit of a slump right now. I think it was in the same position in about the summer of 2007. But look what happened after that: MP3, Mario Galaxy, Brawl (aka the big 3). And that was just Nintendo.
A good round of games is coming up here in the next few months, but it's thrid parties who will have their chance to shine now (or fail on a very epic scale, but let's be hopeful :D ). In fact, I might go as far to say that there is a new 3rd party big 3 coming up here: Mad World, the Conduit, and...er...let's say House of the Dead: Overkill. Those are three games that seem to be getting quite a bit of hype. [or maybe Little King Story?]
Since Getting SSBB Wii games are getting boring and getting bad reviews. Is it me or wii games are loseing there touch?LUIGIUNIVERSESince getting SSBB, Wii games are getting boring and getting bad reviews. Is it me or are Wii games losing their touch? You are probably purchasing bad quality games then.
idk but i've heard that wii it's the best-seller console game in 2008.
If the game sucks, then why do people have to buy it?
my bro hasnt bought a single game for his Wii other then Mario galaxy.
he's too busy playing Fallout and MGS4 on my PS3 to care
the Wii isnt really for the veteran gamer so youre probably out of luck

I think this really sums up what has been Nintendo's problem all this generation. The sad thing is, Nintendo knows this is the problem, they can see how their fans feel about Nintendo's current trends, but they still ignore us and keep doing the same thing since they are making money. Just look at how virtual console releases - it's been 2 years since the Wii came out, and they release vc games at a rate of 1-3 per week, mixed with Wiiware crap, and there are still a ton of good games that should have come out by now, but haven't. I made a list of games that should be on vc a year ago, and more than half of those titles have yet to see the light of day.

Unfortunately most editors just make u"waggle" around with out actually getting us a quality game, the wii seems to be getting old because nintendo already shooted at us its best offerings leaving, at least for the moment, the crap third party developers expect us to play, personally I do hope ninty gives us some kind of exclusive this year, else the wii may actually loose its hard earned 1st place, I want a real ninty game not a "GC on wii" remake.
I think the biggest problem is really 3rd party. Nin uses Mario, Zelda, MP franchise again but the games are good and the fanbase is satisfied. 3rd Party was overwhelmed about the sales on Wii consoles and wanted to have a piece of the cake, too. There we have now two constelations, that are very bad for the quality of a game.
1. The publishers see the hype about the new console and so they ask the developers to make "quickly" one or more Wii games. 2. A lot of the Wii Gamers are casual gamer. The Wii made it to interest people in playing, that never played a console before. Let it be curiosity, coincidence or whatever but the Wii is now a "family" console. So we have a lot of game buyers, which doesn´t really inform about the quality of a game and they don´t want games like Zelda or Mario, because for such games you need to dedicate time (a lot of time). So they´re buying many "casual games" and games that are rated 70% and below, which are often really bad games, independent of if you´re a fan of the franchise.
The real thing I wanted to point out is, that because of this we have a lot of publishers that either throw mini-game like titles in the market or quickly made Wii ports, that have no "heart nor love", you know what I mean. But because there are so many casual gamers, that buy this games instead of "punishing" the 3rd partys and saying "HEY 3rd party not so easy. For this **** you have to pay me and not vice versa". This would give 3rd Party a good kick in the ass and they would learn, that they have to do good games or they don´t even get the crumbs of the cake. (Sorry for my englisch, I´m from Germany)
