For my old gba, N64, SNES and DS I'd buy USED. For my Gamecube and WII buy new cause I have had problems with used disc's in the passed.

I prefer to buy new games, since I don't buy too many games overall. However, I'll buy used games for the current gen if they come with the box and manual (off of ebay or amazon). I don't like buying used from Gamestop because they usually only have the cartridge and it's pretty beat up.

I'll buy GBA or Gamecube games used, though.

depends how cheap, i got wind waker with the ocarina of time bonus disc for 10 bucks from a pawn shop and it looked like it hadnt even been played. when the franchise game shops try to sell me a second hand ds game for 10 dollars less than a brand new one i just buy the new one.

Both. Perks at gamestop are starting to help me out a lot, I basically get new games for the used price or less (15% off new, 25% off used with card). Sometimes used games are tempting though. For me, its all about condition, if a game plays like new and looks new but is used, I'll get it.

Depends. If it's an old game I'll go look for used games. Otherwise I'd pick up new games.

Unless I pre-order the game or its on sale somewhere (and usually most games like that are crappy ones anyways) I go for pre-owned because a good pre-owned DS game that isn't super old and isn't first part usually runs about $25 before EDGE discount, whereas it may be up to $35 new. It just always seems like the money saved on used DS titles is substantial versus buying new.

I have to agree that condition plays a role with me too. If the game is used and in great condition and is $10 bucks cheaper why not? I also tend to see if the NDS booklet included in all DS games is in the case, if not I gank one from another used game lol.

I buy new, the used ones work and are guaranteed to work but for some reason i like being the original owner. However if the game is hard to find used is a win.

I usually buy new, unless I'm really broke or can't find a new copy of the game I want. If I do buy it used, I'll have to inspect it to make sure it is in good condition.

A large majority of my game buying is used, since 90% of the time I get them at discounted prices, and when I buy used DS games, I'm usually buying 2 or 3 at a minimum per purchase. I'll usually only buy new when there's a type of deal or clearance for the game I'm purchasing.

I look for it used most of the time. Only if I really want it (or are sure it's a really good game) do I buy it new.

I got 3 games for Christmas - 2 new 1 used.

I've bought plenty of used GBA games, and one or two used DS games. But for the most part I buy new. I know it would probably make more sense to buy used, but....I dunno. I guess I just like the feel of a new game.

Both. i usually buy used, because its cheaper! And hey aslong as its in a good enough conditon to play fully without any crashes then im fine! But i do buy some sealed new games, but if they are the old games, you can only get used, so i buy them, luckly in Wigston, which is in Leicester, and Leicester is in England.Theres a Gameshop called GameWorld, normally i do trade in sometimes, just to get some preowned PC games or DS games, or whatever and they are normally in good condition, apart from some of the PC games, having a small unnoticable hardly effecting sratch, normally do fine for me!

But for B-days and Christmas i always get new games, no used!!! Because if theres any used games, they will put prices down and go Xmas offer!!! And they won't be the best of condition and at some shops you can get the new CoD on DS for like £20, if it is used £10, i would spend £10 more, because its ment to be present not a hand-down! I only rarely buy Used-games on B-days and Christmas, if they are hard to find and other prices are insanely high on the net!

Depends on whether I have a choice. If I can find a game used, I'll buy it, otherwise I'll just stick with the new. For example, I bought Advance Wars used because I saw it used while The World Ends With You I couldn't find used so I just bought it new.

Since I don't keep my games in the case once I own them and I don't impulse-buy games anymore (and only in the case of the DS because of the cart format - disc formats still receive all respect from me and are pampered), I put the games in my carrying bag, I generally lean towards the Used side... plus I'm not an early adopter so there are a TON of "old" games that're new to me. By the time the current games are "old" I'll get them too, and at a cheaper sell-through price even if they're still shrink wrapped new-old stock. The only title I've ever been stopped cold on finding used was "ElectroPlankton", and I'm not all that busted up about it... just woulda been nice, because I love trippy do-nothing games like that. But you'll all eventually trade in that copy of "TWEWY" or another popular title that I'd like to play eventually, and then I pounce.

Glad To Be "Behind The Times",

~Ston3y~

Currently, I buy used game cuz in my country (Latin America) videogames are quite expensive. (Only for those series that I luv, I make the effort to purchase brand new). By the way, my version for Starman motto is: "As long as it works, and the game comes with the manual, original box and cover; it is a good deal!!"

I buy both new and used ones, it depends on my budget, some times you can have a very good old ones, but when I want to buy a new one I go to this webside http://www.twenga.co.uk/dir-Video-gaming,Nintendo-DS,Nintendo-DS-games and I found good ones

99% new. Usually get new games for cheaper when they are on sale or clearance. Also, I'm a perfectionist so scratches on discs and imcomplete games are unacceptable. I buy used when it is the only option- like when I bought the RE series and Eternal Darkness for the GC this summer, but I made sure they were in excellent condition and complete. It is also nice that PS3 games are very hard to scratch and I don't want to support sony.

I'm mostly a used buyer unless the only used copy the store has is in horrible condition or doesn't have the official case. I'll buy new games if the difference between new and used is like $5 or less.
