[QUOTE="Godofnerdyness"]OF COURSE I LOVE FINAL FANTASY
(Except Final Fantasy 3 DS >.> )

I guess that explains your avatar?
Im probably gonna get it at launch, I enjoyed it for the Snes and the 3D turn on it is looking pretty sweet.
(Knew somebody would say something about that...)I just like the way the avatar looks. I mean, I liked FF3, but didn't LOVE it like most other FF games. The bad story really ruined it for me.

Same.
But yeah, now I understand your avatar.
Uh no.
I played FFIII on DS, and it bored me TO TEARS

What was so boring about it? What other ds games can you name that are better then ff3?

Many games are better... Many.
The game would've been so much better if you could save during dungeons. I got to the last one where you have to fight a bunch of bosses in a row. I died and had to do like 2 hours of it over. So, I promptly traded that POS into GS. That is garbage.

Exactly.
The game was simply incredibly boring to me. I don't know, it could have been the fact that I don't really ever care about the story in a game. I play games to have fun. :D

Difficulty level should have squat to do with the enjoyment. Would you rather the final dungeon be a breeze?
Also, the DS lite has a nifty sleep state when you shut it. So it's almost as good as a save.
Finally, this iteration of the series is MUCH more story oriented and has great character development. It also has save points in the final dungeon. The final dungeon is still huge and has some of the baddest monsters in the series, but you get your save points.
Believe me. FFIII is no comparison to this masterpiece.
Nope. I played FF VI years ago, and I find the other FFs to be kind of not as good. I guess I grew up with it, and I don't have the capacity to spend hours on something new.hydralisk86
this is FF 4 not 6

The problem with FFIII really wasn't to pause the game into sleep state. Having to start from the entrance of a huge dungeon after getting wiped out by a boss is really frustrating. A generous save implementation would have been to put a save spot before entering the room where the boss stays.
Still, I loved FFIII and I can't wait for IV.

If you die then go level up for a bit. It's not tough to pop up a few levels and try again.
It would be nice, but the game was hard. I'd rather they stick true to the original then pander to new players who think the game is brutally hard. If a game didn't offer a challenge, it wouldn't be worth playing.
