I'm still kind of on the fence, but since I've been hearing good things about it and you get Kid Icarus 3D Classics for preordering I decided to do so.
When it's cheap, maybe. Nothing I've seen of it so far looks fun, and it's a game based on a 'classic' that gets way more praise than it deserves (seriously, the old Kid Icarus is a pretty awful game).
Day one. I probably would have skipped it if it wasn't for the variety of weapons, the fiend's cauldron, and the (hopefully very little lag) online multiplayer.
I feel like if you've already forked out the money for a 3DS you might as well get the 3DS game that Nintendo has put the most effort into. Even if you're not usually into that kind of game, I say give it a chance. P.S. I don't have a 3DS...

I would've thought EB Games had it aswell because they are owned by Gamestop. But I guess it is only in United States because I don't think there are any EB Games in the US anymore. They've all been replaced by Gamestops.
Maybe. I'll have to see what kind of reviews it gets. It looks pretty decent, but you never know. If it's a game that takes like a day or two to beat, then probably not. I like games that last a while.

I'm still on the fence about getting this game. I never was a big Kid Icaras fan honestly. Plus I don't have the cash right now and I am still trying to beat a boat load of games I play now like Zelda: Skyward Sword and tons of older games. Maybe when the price goes down on it I'll get it.

Yes, I have it preordered. I'm slightly skeptical because it reminds me of Sin & Punishment. While S & P looks really good, I didn't think it was all that fun. I'm hoping Kid Icarus is different. I've always wanted to get back into the series, so now's my chance. Getting the slightly remade original game is a nice bonus, too. I'm sure I'll be pleasantly surprised as I have with many of Nintendo's games. I expected nothing out of Pushmo, and I had the most fun I could possibly imagine out of it.

I pre-ordered from Best Buy Canada, I wonder if I'll get the code? Or is it a US thing only?
I'm guessing it's just for the US just because Gamestop's only in the US and EB Games is in Canada, but I'm not sure. I didn't know Best Buy was in Canada, at least there isn't one where I live.
If you happen to get the code anyway could you let us know?

Yeah I will - I checked the Best Buy Canada's site, I get a pack of AR cards for pre-ordering, but no mention of the 3D Classic.

Yeah I think that's the same with EB Games, I'm supposed to get a pack of 5 AR cards for pre ordering too.
I pre-ordered it last week. The video showing the multiplayer mode and the variety of the gameplay offered in single player persuaded me to get it.
I just hope that all of the lead-up hype (the 3D anime, the three-part Thalnatos series) up to it's launch will make the game worth it. If the game turns out to be a letdown due to controls or repetitious gameplay then there's going to be a level of rage the likes of which was never seen since Metroid: Other M (shudders).
I have to decide between this, and assassins creed revalations. It is a hard decision. I think that Kid Icarus looks like it would be really fun and a good use for my money, but i have always been a major assassins creed fan...so this is a hard decision.
Just read IGN's review of it (8.5). It really looks like a great game. There is only one reason I will probably not buy this game. Controls. The reviewer said they give you about a thousand control options (except no Circle Pad Pro support), but all of them require the use of the stylus for precision, which the reviewer said you need to be precise when the action picks up. This was my problem with Metriod Prime: Hunters. It really hurt my hand holding the stylus, to the point where I stopped playing the game. It sucked because I loved the game and didnt get to beat it. So I guess Ill pass on Kid Icarus...:?

I went and got it today, the flying sections are really awesome, kinda like Star Fox on crack.
I'm having a hard time controlling the ground sections though. I've only played for about an hour, but I hope I get the hang of it soon. The wide selection of weapons and abilities is very cool.
I got it day one on bestbuy because it was 30$ compared to gamestop 40$. Nothing seems to be missing i got the ar cards and the stand.
the controls can be changed to ur liking. Instead of using the stylus for the touchscreen, I use the the right thumb for precision its like an invisible analog and the R to shoot.
