I am definetly getting it! It has felt like to years for this game to arrive.
These next 2 weeks are going to feel like a century. 0_o
i think they changed the name from city folk to lets go to the city, but i will still get it once i have the money. i hope it isnt as easy as the GC one and not as hard as the ds version (the bells needed to finish the game was really hard)monkeyd_93
no, lets go to the city is the name of it for some european countries
[QUOTE="Conjuration"]I was excited for this game until I found out it uses friend codes. That killed the hype for me by about 150%.dylanmcc
w.e I guess I was just upset that my chances of ever making use of this games online features are zero.
I don't know anyone who owns a Wii, or shares my taste in games. Friend codes are no good to me at all.

Sorry for the daft question...
I'm an adult so: Someone please tell me what the BIG thrill is with this game?
It looks like a really "kiddie" version of My Sims and something that would appeal to a 5-6 year-old...
Is this a game for "Adults"?
Thanks

I'm an adult too... Well I just turned 21 that is, but for some reason, even though AC's are very kiddie and lack an action or suspense of anykind, they are (IMO) the greatest games to hit Nintendo. Basicallly you move into a town, where you start out in a humble home, and you do odd jobs to buy additions to the house, or to buy furniture, or another type of tool (like a say a fishing pole, since you can make a lot of money from fish). Also you keep the town looking good by pulling weeds, planting flowers, keeping the trees orderly etc..Â
The game is an incredibly addicting thing, and with online, you will be able to go into other peoples REAL towns, and see how they've done, and maybe even collect some of their native fruit!
Just give a shot, even if you just rent it, I have a feeling anyone would like it.Â
