i wasnt planing on buying it before the marathon and after watching the whole show, it's still the same. the games just seems to be boring imo. no need to flame me for this, if u guys are so excited about this game, i'm fine with that.

That's what I'm thinking. I've got Wild World. Loved it when I played it, but got bored a few months later. I don't really feel the urge to play "Wild World+".
Absolutely. Maybe not a day 1 buy, but at some point. I wasn't too sure before the marathon, but seeing it in action was great. My only major criticism is that they're reusing the DS music.
I watched the marathon and the only reason I'd get this game for Wii Speak.
But on the other hand..
The fishing looked really fun! They caught fish like the Cherry Perch, Pike, and at one point the guy said he caught an Octopus. This leads me to believe that you can catch tonnes of different types of fish and then sell special ones for high prices. Customizing your character and buying expensive furniture for your house looked cool too.
The marathon made me definitely not getting this game. This 1:1 the same game as on the DS, even the whole beginning - wtf. And the freaking city just has stuff, which was in the village in the DS game (haircutter,comedian), but now you can use them right from the beginning, which is bad thing imo...
I've never payed an animal crossing game because the wii is the first nintendo system i've had since the 64 days. What is so special about it? Does it have good replay value? It seems to be just like a harvest moon game from what i've seen in videos. I'm stuck between this game and the new Call Of Duty, any suggestions?
i was excited for it, but after watching the marathon my hopes faded as it looks EXACTLY the same as the GC version.
i don't want to be dissapointed again. i bought AC:WW and was dissapointed because it was EXACTLY the same as the GC version. it's like time is repeating itself and we're all in this weird dimension that goes round in circles...................i call it the games industry!
