Probably not. Thought the first one was lousy... I like stealth games well enough, but this one was boring and they tried to carry the game only on the fact that it was more violent than nearly any game out there. I'm not impressed by that. I admit the game had good graphics and sound, but the gameplay was lacking and the story was ludicrously dumb.
Not a stickler because of graphics usually, but they look awful. If they don't polsih it up, expect to see graphics that could be powered by a PS1. But, I missed out on the first one. It might be fun in a sick way.
maybe... i read that the "remake" of it, so that it can be M and no AO, implied doing some "blur" of the scene.. So if the game looks like a bunch of blur image... no.. i`m not getting it.
I was before, they put all the blur... I would have prefer for them to remove some of this scence or remove teh blood.... but oh well....maybe it would be a good horror/gore game with all the blur :?
You bet. I realy didn't like the setting of the first one, but the setting in this one looks awesome in a wierd, disturbing way.

I've seen the filter, and in my honest opinion, it doesn't look that bad. In fact, I like it, it makes it seem more crazy and psychotic because it's really stylized.
Yeah I'm going to buy it. I bought my Wii back in June and now I've been waiting for it to come out. I just hope that the Wii will get more serious games. I've got high hopes for No More Heroes and SSBB.
Let's look at it this way: EVERYBODY that plays violent games, such as Manhunt 2, is going to kill people in real life, right? So I'm just going to skip that step, ya'know, to save some money, and just go out and kill people... But for real though, I'm not getting it just because I heard the first one wasn't very good and this seems like just the most contriversial think they could think of making...so they did. I would prefer a good, less violent game than a...not so good, but brutally violent game. Tons of gore and violence doesn't make a game better. It works for some games, but other games seem like they just make it as violent as they possible can just because they can. I think that's kinda what they did here. I mean, it's been banned almost everywhere and I think the less violent version got banned as well (if I'm not mistaken). I haven't actually played either one of the Manhunt games so I'm definately not sure how MH2 is going to turn out. Hopefully it'll be good because a lot of people want it. I guess I'll just wait for the reviews to see how good it is.
I don't know why I'm not liking this game so much, so no. Normally I'd be psyched for another M rated game on a Nintendo console, but this one isn't really looking to fun for some reason. Mabye it's the way they put emphasis into marketing this game as beyond standard M rating gore or something, idk.
Me it's up to reviews because I only have enough money to buy 1 of these games, No More Heroes, MOH Heroes 2 or Manhunt 2 after all the Ninetndo games I need.
Hummmmm, maybe.... but I really think BWii is going to keep me busy for the rest of the year (the online part I mean). Plus I have just started Zelda... got my Wii just a few days ago :)
I was getting it until I found out they censored it. Call me shallow and blood-thirsty, but gore and painful scripting does in fact enhance a game's enjoyment and gives it that 'outrageous' flair and provide some of those 'woah' moments you don't in games very often.
I'm very bummed it's been censored. It's ridiculous it was censored in the first place. What's the point of the wiimote's immersion if i don't know what I'm doing?
