I'll be getting it regardless, but WHEN i'll be getting it is what's hanging in the balance. This E3 will be the tell-all, if it has no multiplayer capabilities then I'll just wait, since it has absolutely no replay value without it, and there will be piles upon piles of used copies at the game stores within no time, leading to a drastically reduced price. Think: Metriod Prime for the Gamecube.
However if it's got online multiplayer with bots and the like similar to Metroid Prime Hunters, I won't feel guilty one bit not waiting.
I'm buying it. The first two were great games, so I'm getting this when it comes out...it should be fun. It'll be awesome if it comes with multiplayer like Hunters, that would be an added bonus for me.
Hell yes sir I'm getting MP3!!! After I come back from the Dominican that is since I'll be there by the games release. I'm also getting it with Strikers.

I'm renting it for sure, but I'll have to think about buying it. If I do decide to buy it, I'll wait a bit to get it. What I don't understand, though, is why people think that Metroid has to have online multiplayer. A game can be great even without multiplayer (think RE4, Wind Waker, etc.).

I'm getting it for sure, the last 2 primes were amazing fun. I dont want multiplayer though, cause this game type isnt really designed to be multi. Plus this game isnt supposed to compete with Halo3 so multi isnt as important.
planing on it. i just hope thay ease up on the back tracking. mp1 was difacult for me to play as by the time i found the right upgrade i had forgotten where the area was i needed the upgrade for lol
Isn't it already announced that there won't be a multiplayer mode? But to the topic, yes I will be buying it day one after I get it reserved. Then college can take a week off.
I'll get it, no matter what. Even if it has no multiplayer, I wanna know how the story continues after the brilliant Metroid Prime and Echoes. Metroid Prime is all about singleplayer anyway, but ofcourse Nintendo and Retro Studios have a golden chance to implement Metroid Prime 3, and make it's sales go skyrise.
I'd be stupid not to rent it. I'm not into the MP games, but I enjoy FPS shooters, and the controls have it dead on like a PC FPS. I have to see these 'killer-controls' for myself. Hopefully I'll see a bump in graphics and plenty ofintense actionto make up for the lack of online.
