Are you going to buy the black nintendo wii when its released.?

hi, I'm guessing most of you guys have seen pictures of the black Nintendo Wii in Japan. It looks so cool so is anyone going to buy it when it finally releases in the UK and USA . I am going to trade my white Wii in for the back it just looks so cool.

I'm not. And we don't know if the black Wii is coming.

Even if it does come, why would you trade it? You will have to still pay money to get the black one (probably like $50) and you lose all of your VC/Wiiware games.

To honest, I think it looks worse. I'm not going to sell mine from launch to get the same thing, and lose my Virtual Console games (And my precious memories of it :cry: ).

Why would you buy the same thing twice because it looks different. If you want a black wii spray paint the Wii you have.

I already have one, so I'm not going to pay $200 for something I could do with the magic of spray paint.

You can put them on an SD card, but they are locked to your Wii, can't transfer to other consoles.

Can't you transfer your Wii Shop Channel account to another Wii? I don't know, I could be wrong.

No you can't dude, I have tried it, and so have many other people.

And you can set something up with Nintendo about transfering the games, you have to contact customer service.

Meh, I am fine with my white Wii. I don't need to spend extra money just to have it be a different color.

No. I already have a Wii, so a change in color isn't enough for me to warrant spending another $200 on a system I already have.

Anyway, even if I decided to trade in my white Wii for a black one, I'd lose some save data that can't be moved to an SD Card, so that's also why I wouldn't get a black Wii.

I think it's unreasonable to trade in a perfectly good system just for a new color. If it's for a upgraded new system than that makes sense, maybe like a new harddrive, slimmer model, etc., But just for a new color and to pay more money for it? And to even pay up close to a $100 for it knowing Gamestop's crazy trade-in offers?
