It looks good, but what buggs me is that fact that there is only 20 (give or take) songs! What do you people think?

Yeah, I will. I've played Guitar Hero 2 & 3 on my friend's PS2 and 360, and they're so much fun. So, why not?
Also, the fact that there are only 4 frets does not bother me, as I don't like switching between 5. It's too difficult for me to coordinate that much movement at such high speed.
They should have really thought of a way to incorporate the strum bar. Strumming the touchscreen reminds me of those cheesey jam session commercials. not knowing much about the DS when these commercials first appeared several years ago, I was really turned off and was like, I'll never get a DS.lol.
I think the DS version is a rather ambitious move given the hardwares limitations but nevertheless I'm sure it will have a more than willing reception onto the DS. I personally won't be getting it but only because I already have GH2 & 3 on my xbox, can't wait for Rock Band as well :D
EDIT: To those uninformed, there is still no PAL version of Rock Band, so it didn't come out last year ;)
I'll get it if it gets really postive reviews. At least an 8.5 or else I'm not buying it.
What's next though? Rock Band DS? Well come to think of it that would be pretty cool. They could have 2 styluses that look like drum sticks and you could use the touch screen as the drum. Then use Guitar Hero's guitar style and then utilize the mic.
Like many of you, the 4 frets doesn't phaze me because I only play on Medium anyways. I also think that with the way you hold the DS when you play it'd be too difficult to play Expert (not being able to move your hand up and down the frets) which is most likely the main reason why there are only 4.
The lame advertisment doesn't appeal to me, but I do enjoy the other GH games. . . so as long as it's not an outrageous price then I think I will pick it up. I hope in the future they have an option to download new songs over Wifi. That'd be pretty cool!
