well are you?

You know, All I wanted Rock Band for was a cheap way to try out drumming. I've always wanted to give drumming a try, and since expert mode of Rock Band is pretty much the same thing as drumming out a 4/4 beat, I figured it would be a good game to get, since I'm sure my wife and some friends would have fun with it as well.
But then I hear about how stripped down the Wii version is and I'm just so disgusted with the laziness of the company that I don't even want to spend my money on their product. No DLC? I was ok with that, but no online play at all? Lame.
There are better ways (perhaps not as fun) to get into the drums.
I'd rather just play real music with real instruments, so no.Zurei
Yeah, I'd rather kill people with real guns than play Halo.
I'd rather skateboard for real than play Tony Hawk.
I'd rather play sports than play Mario Tennis.
I'd rather fight for real than play Virtua Fighter.
Same principle.
Smart move there.
No way. Like it's been said, no DLC means no replay value, which just doesn't make it worth it.Quiksilver0519
Agreed. If it had DLC, I would have definitely have bought it. But, since it doesn't it's not worth paying over $120.
anyone play guitar hero 1 it didnt have DLC but it was awesome, same with guitar hero 2 and 3 for the wii. i still play it and think it has great replay value, even without downloadable content, but i guess now a days gamers just want so much more and cant appreciate a game for what its worthkevster1287
What it's worth? For the same price on another system, you can get "the full version" of Rock Band, not the slimmed down Wii version. This is due to laziness, not system hardware. The ONLY limitation the Wii version should have is the DLC, but unfortunately they trimmed so much more.
Yeah, the Wii can't handle the graphics that the PS3 has, but if they can trim down the graphics to work on the Wii, why can't they finish the game and add in all the game modes and online play? Because they are lazy and are banking on the casual Wii owners who don't have another system to buy it. I mean, think about it. If you have an xbox or PS3, wouldn't you go out and get the better version? Yup. That's why they aren't putting much effort into the Wii version. As I said, it's for the casual folks with no other systems and don't know any better.
