I don't think that it would work well on the wii. It would just be a dumbed down version of the ps3/360 version. The only thing I'm mad about is that I don't have any money at the moment to buy a ps3/360 so I can play GTA IV :P
Honestly I'm glad it's not on the Wii. I wouldn't buy it realizing all the sacrifices they would have to make to the game it to enable it to play on the console. It just wouldn't be GTA 4. And forget about online play.
Kind of but there are similar games such as bully, godfather, scarface, and no more heroes. These may not win game of the year but they are solid alternatives, especially godfather and no more heroes.
no, I own all three systems so I get to play GTA IV....that being said, Mario Kart: Wii is actually getting more playtime than my GTA: IV is at the moment

Agreed, they are only fun to me when playing with friends and going on killing sprees, after buying Vice City, renting San Andreas and playing 4 I was very disappointed. The missions are just really infuriating in the first 2, you die too easily, often quite unfairly, and with there being no checkpoints you have to go from the hospital, back to the mission start and begin all over again...how fun! It ends up just being trial and error, you have to die to be able to know where all the enmies in the missions are so you don't die the next time...
And for 4, it's good but it just feels like the others, I don't see what everyone sees in it thats so great that I'm missing...
Not at all. I have other means of playing the game. While I like the series, I would rather wait till it's in some clearance bin or for $30 or less, or better yet, borrow from someone.
Also, these types of topics (GTA4) are a no-no on the Wii boards.
