Seriously. I was happiest with my Wii when I was at college... getting lots of people over to my place to play the Wii, especially girls. That's a first in the realm of video games, that's for sure. For once, I had more to offer than beer and cards. Beer and Wii boxing... now that's a night.

Even now that I'm graduated and have very few friends back home (they all moved away, the bastards), I still enjoy it. The Virtual Console and backwards compatibility are the best parts for me since I'm broke and haven't found a good job yet.

So yeah, you should get it. Very few people are disappointed with it, regardless of how it sometimes seems like a lot of people are disappointed in this forum. If you have hobbies other than just video games, you'll be satisfied, especially since it's only $250.

i am very happy and there are plenty of good games coming out this holiday season. For example madden 08. metroid prime 3, nba live, battilion wars 2, zack and wiki,fire emblem, super mario galaxy, resident evil umbrella chronicles, soul calibur legends, rayman raving rabbids 2, guitar hero 3, super smash bros brawl

Yes, but I agree with this quote ^^^^ partially, as there are a few good games out but not a complete set. no good rpgs yet that i know of >_>

yea its amazing.

just picked up strikers charged, its awesome online.RE4 is great.SPM is fun.TP was the best game ive ever played.

and wii sports ia a great pack in:D

Oh it's a must have console but you should combine it with another next gen console though for equilibrium... btw just try not hitting anyone with the Wii-mote or braking anything... I was traumatized for almaost a daywhen smacked my friend in the face (first day). It's a kinda potentially dangerous console but worth it!
