Are You Hyping Sonic and The Black Knight Today?

Sonic and The Black Knight comes out today, are you hyping/getting it today? Only Nintendo Power has reviewed it and gave it an 8.0, I think they are being genourous :P but the game looks pretty cool. I might wait a couple of days for reviews to see if I can get it. The past 2 sonic games on Wii were terrible, so I'm still not sure about this game. What do you think?

Sonic has done really well on the Wii, I can think of only one sub par game

Sonic and The Secret Rings controls were terrible, And Unleashed was OK....The Werehog levels were so boring! The game had a cool idea but dissappointed us.RandomWarrior69

Sonic Unleashed has a user score of 8.1, again, no bad to be seen

The only sub par Sonic game was Sonic Riders with users scoring it just under 7 at 6.9

Overall Sonic has done very well on the Wii

there were so many times in unleashed where the werehog would RUN instead of walk, or he'd slide which would make me fall during the horrible platforming parts. they were easy parts except the controls were just terrible so it made it frustrating for me when i died midway through a level only to have to restart it all again

I had no problems at all with Secret Ring's controls.

In fact, I liked that game more than Unleashed.

To tell you the truth, no. I think that the real world aspect was a terrible idea for SEGA (Sonic Adeenture for DC not included) because it just doesn't feel like Sonic anymore. I hope that they pull a Capcom and release a new old-school 16 bit Sonic game and release it on VC, XBL, and PSN. I would definately buy it.

The Sonic brand is better then it's been in years, it's doing so well they tagged his name on the most recent compilation release to help move copies

SSR was fun, but had awful controls.

Sonic Unleashed had great controls and really nailed the Sonic levels, but the Werehog levels stunk.

I'm hoping SBK will combine the Sonic-only focus of SSR with the superior controls of SU.

I think itll be great. Alot of people seem to hate Sonic games but I think they're fun. Secret Rings was really good, and Unleashed was pretty good too. This one looks like itll be the best but i'll wait for a review.

Doesn't matter to me what it got, I'm still renting it because it looks like fun. I'm pretty sure it's just IGN over-exaggerating again and that it's not half as bad as they make it out to be.

If Nintendo developed a sonic game, it would by far supass any 3D sonic game out there.

But most likely won't be as good as it was in 2D, it would still be awsome under Nintendo's care.

You think after the trial and error of the Secret Rings that they would have figured it out by now.

Just because it is set in a certain time frame, doesn't mean that Sonic needs to use a sword anyway.

THIS is why they should hand it over to Nintendo, they would never pull anything like this.

I think Wii music might be a better game.

Definetly agree; Sonic has sucked since Sonic Heroes. I sorta like Shadow's game, but it was alright.

Sega needs to give the reigns to Nintendo, who in turn need to do a purely old school story line with a "Mario Galaxy"-like gameplay. I'm so sick of the children book storys; it's not like kids read anymore anyways.
