Are you upset Wii Blackops never got any major updates or map packs?

Coming home from college and pulling the Wii out to play again, I thought I'd try Blackops one more time and pray there was an update for it. All hopes destroyed haha, O well, weren't that high.

Anyway, I do find this rather disappointing. What we got was a majorly dumbed down version, we missed out on a lot of multiplayer and zombie weapons and maps to begin with, and it was never updated to match the other versions. I bought the game pretty much for Zombies, only to discover that Kino Der Toten was the only map available. I figured we would one day get an update that had Five and the Arcade levels, but it never happened. As the map packs started coming out, I got excited that we'd finally get some new levels, but that never happened on Wii either! Overall very dissapointed, it makes me feel very cheated. I know it is the Wii, and not a "core" console but I think Treyarch still could have thrown us a bone or two.

Here's to hoping that the Wii U's online and graphics will atleast match the competitions so that we get the same COD updates and map packs. (I think if we preorder Blackops 2 for Wii U, we should get all the zombie maps from the original that we missed out on as a bonus :P)

I'm glad we got a FPS with modern online capabilities period, game is ten dollars cheaper, free online, so dont ahve any complains.

The Wii U versions of such games should get updates, but it really has nothing to do with the system's power and/or online capabilities. It's really more about the storage to download such things, which is something that the Wii didn't have.

Between that and the fact the userbase of Wii games such as Black Ops were never really that high, it really wasn't worth the effort for most developers to even try to offer such updates.

I wouldn't bother with horrible ports like that. The actual Black Ops game isn't that great, and is an unfufilling waste of time like all other Call of Duty games. I kind of feel bad for you ,TC.Bad-School-Girl

Well, since it's the COD game I enjoyed the most you can be certain I was upset when they stopped making patches for the game and never said a word on DLC. But in the end it was a good game and Treyarch at least tried to recreate the modern COD experience on the Wii and in my eyes they succeeded.

Now I can't wait for Black Ops II.

Nah, I didn't buy a wii to play this sort of game.

i sucked at black ops so i didnt really care..

i am sad MW3 isnt getting anything though :(
