Anyway, I am worried about it. Because when it comes to games like Batallion Wars and Medal of Honor 2. How will you communicate with other players?

The online for the Wii is pretty bad... I don't think voice chat would be a good idea... Text chat maybe... I still say a keyboard attachment for the Wiimote would be an awesome idea, so you do not need to navigate that awful on-screen keyboard to enter information.
I just think the Nintendo Wifi on the Wii with voice chat would turn into "WHAT DID YOU SAY?" "HUH?" "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" "oh... he lagged out..."

Voice chat worked just fine with the DS, I don't see why it wouldn't with the Wii.
We better get it before BWII because that games online will seriously suffer from not having it.starwarsgeek112
not it wont maybe co-op but it would be fine

Co-op and any team play would be completely ruined. Voice chat is a standard in online these days, nintendo NEEDS to get with the program.
yes i agree a headset would be nice for co-op but it wont be completed ruined if it didnt

i can kind of agree to that..even if you tell someone to stay back they probably will just go shooting and kill himself
I can live without kids screaming at me when I beat the crap out of them.
It's be nice for co-op, perhaps even a requirement, but I'm not too woried.
hate to say this but i am kinda worried because nintendo might not give the headset out soon enough. bwii and medal of honor with out head sets.... not so good hurry up nintendobluefang2WiiConnect24 update could probably fix that.

Yeah I don't know. We've yet to see this put into action. Not even Nintendo has done it yet.

Same here.
You can either mute them oras in the case of MoH H2, can vote kick them out.
They added Keyboard compatibility. I don't see why a headset would be hard.Yeah I don't know. We've yet to see this put into action. Not even Nintendo has done it yet.

But that wasn't to a game. In fact Nintendo said that it was just a coincidence. I don't know if Devs would even try to add VC in a game already released.
I know it was just for Internet. But that wasn't to a game. In fact Nintendo said that it was just a coincidence. I don't know if Devs would even try to add VC in a game already released.

If a game sold well enough I'd be willing to bet they'd try.

Well that eliminates BWii already...
BWii may sell better than you'd think. Plus Nintendo would be able to add it in if they decide to make a headset without much troubl. It is first party (technically).Well that eliminates BWii already...

I hope so. Well us still having no new info on it since last year certainly doesn't help. It should and maybe Nintendo can show Developers how it's done. As always.
I have to point that based on my experiences with Xbox Live, I could live without voice chat. I'm not a big fan of young teenagers screaming profane comments in my ear, plus I'm not looking forward to yelling at my party members to stick to a plan and watching them getting themselves killed. The rest of you may have much more experience with voice chat so you won't mind as much, but having racial slurs thrown at me after a hard day of work does not fit my idea of fun.
Thus, voice chat is something I could do without, unless it's OLDER, more mature gamers on my friends list (meaning gamers that I know on GS who own a Wii and a few in-laws). If I don't have enough, I'll either play without the option enabled or stay offline.
YES! I swear if nintendo does not realease some type of voice chat feature then i am going to blow up every nintendo headquarters there is.. :D

How about saying that on the SW bets topic?
