Assassin's Creed is coming to the DS after all

It appears that Assassin's Creed is on Nintendo's big release list for the rest of the year and next spring, with a vague February release month.

I'm hoping it is an actual game, not some Assassin's Creed-themed minigames or something like a card battler. We'll find out when we actually get information and media on it.

Your thoughts?

As for Assassin's Creed on the DS I don't think it is even close to a possiblity, the link you posted is in fact a blog which means it not neccessarily reliable without the right sources. According to the official assasin's creed website (http://assassinscreed.uk.ubi.com/index_old.php: the only consoles supported are the Sony Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 (and probably the PC b ut it doesn't list it at the bottom of the page) As for the photo it looks like it has been photoshoped so that the pictures where just placed into the screen area. Finally, in regards to console power I agree with codemaster, the DS does not have the technology to support such an open ended or graphically powered game without some major downsizing in the game graphics and mechanics department.

So my conclusion is tha is just a rumour that is bound to be busted

in my opinion, i really dont see how that would work out even if it is real. if it does end up coming out, well.... we'll just have to see. hopefully it will surprise us. but it defidently wouldnt be a port of the 360/PS3 version.

It'll probably end up like some crappy side-scroller. The console version will own.

for real, did you look at the case? what kind of game did it look like?DarkFire716
