Convicted: Wii Music
Anticipation: Thoughts of an awesome Mario Paint-like/ music writer w/ wi-fi capabilities/ sharing = epic. I used to rewrite songs when I was 15 on Mario Paint that I could. I remember it not having some flat and minor notes, which kept me from doing some things on it. It was a rad idea though.
What actually happened: Music conductor utilizing motion controls. Watered down version of band simulation games (which I'm not a fan of anyway) with no real music to play, leaving a taste of a 4th grade music class finish.

Convicted: Carnival Games Mini Golf:
Anticipation: One of the best ideas that can utilize the systems ideal control and marketting.
What actually happened: Anything, but a controllable game. Short, unthoughtful, frustrating courses, horribly avoidable, worthless unlockables and a weak environment. All of which are critical for a sports game, with the exception of opting unlockables. I am still patiently awaiting a nicely made, carefully constructed and deep environment mini-golf game. If this doesn't happen on this system, Nintendo will have missed possibly one of the greatest opportunities for it. Wii or Mario Mini Golf on Motion + anyone? Oops, just kidding, here, play this instead.

Convicted: Trauma Center series
Anticipation: Possibly slightly gory, intense game, utilizing motion controls. MB Operation on steroids. Perfect addition to the motion control library.
What actually happened: Anime!!! Lots and lots of otaku anime soap opera that would never shut up! Computerized polygon 3D puzzles loosely resembling human body partsand a fake alien virus you fight inside the patient with injections? Are you kidding me?? Get this worthless CD out of my console and out of my life!

Convicted: Hell's Kitchen
Anticipation: Pro looking cooking simulator, possibly utilizing legit recipies. Potential for funny animation, again, great idea for a motion controlled game.
What actually happened: Celebrity cash in shovelware. A final product that has the same depth as a slot-machine mini-game or Java freeware, only less thought out and far less entertaining. I can only say that if this tragedy were a slot machine mini-game, I would only continue suffering through it because it paid me.
I'll leave it at that for now.
