I am tired of writing about games you like. How about the games that you don't like. Ever had a time when you were looking foreword to a game, then you got it and were disappointed and mad that you spent that money? Ever played a game and went 'how can a game be THIS bad'? Do you have any games that you just hate?

I feel the same about MadWorld. After hearing about how great this game was I decided to buy it. After the excitedment of killing people with a chainsaw wore off (took about 15min) I became insanely bored. Also on that list, and a game I recently purchased for GCN, Sonic Adventure. I thought the second one was awesome, but I was bored to death with the first one.

Need For Speed, I think I had Pro Street, maybe it was Undercover I'm not even sure now but...I didn't play it long, didn't keep it very long either :P It didn't support the Wii Wheel, and was very hard and annoying to controll while holding the Wii Remote Horizonaly. It was a major disappointment to me because I really liked the ones on the GC, especially Hot Pursuit 2.

Maybe give nitro a rent? I got nitro and I get alot of enjoyment out of it and it definatley supports the wii wheel.

For me Mario Party 8 and Super Paper Mario Wii have been the 2 biggest dissapointments since SMB2. Especially Super Paper Mario Wii, it wins by miles.

Mario Party 8 and the Conduit both disappointed me, Mario Party 8 became boring quickly and the Conduit though decent was extremely flawed and I find the controls way to sensetive, even on the lowest setting so much that it becomes hard to aim.

For me, Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Only because of the motion controls and lack of controler options. I love X-men legends for the PS2. And at the time I figured "the wii version has motion controls, so it must be better." Big mistake, they just ruin that game. Some games just aren't meant to have motion controls.

Now I just need to find the PS3 version...

I'm going to get shot for saying this but Zelda :TP. While I was playing that all I could think was "God, how much better would this game be just playing it with a normal controller".

lol, I agree partially. I liked the controls for some things, like pointing with the bow, but for swinging the sword i'd rather use a button. I also don't like how they fliped the whole world just to make Link Right handed.

Although I still love the game, and it's one of my favorite Wii games.

i have played around 50 retail wii games and the only bad ones i can think of is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 activison screwed up the wii copy by hiring a team that only done 3 wii games all being disney shovelware the only one is legend of zelda twilight princess mixed with a bad story and furry love with wolfs, then bad motion control it is just a fail even if the zelda fans love it just for the fact its a zelda game

As annoying as turning everything backwards was it TP, it made it easier to play since originally Link is left handed and using your right hand to control his left would have been confusing.

djcalotta

um....no you can't. the A button makes him roll, and when locked on an enemy, it does a jump attack. In order to do a basic swing, you have to shake/swing the remote.

As annoying as turning everything backwards was it TP, it made it easier to play since originally Link is left handed and using your right hand to control his left would have been confusing.

superslimshady

Actually, since swinging the remote is as simple as just moving the controler somehow, and however you do it, it doesn't effect how Link swings the sword, I don't see how it matters which hand he is using. But still, it should have an option, since some people who play Zelda games are actuallyleft handed.

Wii Play was pretty bad. the Castlevania VC download was fun, but frustratingly hard. New Super Mario Bros. Wii had great gameplay, but most of the game felt pretty barren features-wise.

Joeker96

Wow. I couldn't disagree more about the controls of the Conduit. I can effortlessly pull off head shot after head shot. To me the controls are more accurate than I have been able to achieve through any dual analog contoller--though not as accurate as a mouse/keyboard combination.

I also disagree about TP's controls. The Wii version was a joy to play, while the GC controller seems broken. To each their own.

Convicted: Wii Music

Anticipation: Thoughts of an awesome Mario Paint-like/ music writer w/ wi-fi capabilities/ sharing = epic. I used to rewrite songs when I was 15 on Mario Paint that I could. I remember it not having some flat and minor notes, which kept me from doing some things on it. It was a rad idea though.

What actually happened: Music conductor utilizing motion controls. Watered down version of band simulation games (which I'm not a fan of anyway) with no real music to play, leaving a taste of a 4th grade music class finish.

.

.

Convicted: Carnival Games Mini Golf:

Anticipation: One of the best ideas that can utilize the systems ideal control and marketting.

What actually happened: Anything, but a controllable game. Short, unthoughtful, frustrating courses, horribly avoidable, worthless unlockables and a weak environment. All of which are critical for a sports game, with the exception of opting unlockables. I am still patiently awaiting a nicely made, carefully constructed and deep environment mini-golf game. If this doesn't happen on this system, Nintendo will have missed possibly one of the greatest opportunities for it. Wii or Mario Mini Golf on Motion + anyone? Oops, just kidding, here, play this instead.

.

.

Convicted: Trauma Center series

Anticipation: Possibly slightly gory, intense game, utilizing motion controls. MB Operation on steroids. Perfect addition to the motion control library.

What actually happened: Anime!!! Lots and lots of otaku anime soap opera that would never shut up! Computerized polygon 3D puzzles loosely resembling human body partsand a fake alien virus you fight inside the patient with injections? Are you kidding me?? Get this worthless CD out of my console and out of my life!

.

.

Convicted: Hell's Kitchen

Anticipation: Pro looking cooking simulator, possibly utilizing legit recipies. Potential for funny animation, again, great idea for a motion controlled game.

What actually happened: Celebrity cash in shovelware. A final product that has the same depth as a slot-machine mini-game or Java freeware, only less thought out and far less entertaining. I can only say that if this tragedy were a slot machine mini-game, I would only continue suffering through it because it paid me.

I'll leave it at that for now.

Emergency Mayhem the controls don't work well it does have a lot of problems sometimes after doing everything in the level it won't end when it's suppose to, the arrows point you in the wrong direction sometimes. Some of the games were just stupid like helping people that have stuff stuck on them like one person has a nail inside of them it's justridiculouswhy could you even want to swallow a nail. Then trying to catchpatientsthat have ran away from the hospital you have to run them down to help them it just doesn't make any sense.

Bad games on the Wii I think mostly come from Data Design Interactive the developers who brought you Ninjabread Man, Anubis II and the rest of the shovleware Data Design Interactive have brought to the Wii.

Good Topic!! Have to disagree with two of you. Super Paper Mario is one of the BEST games made by Nintendo. Animal Crossing City Folk was very engaging too. I have played Nintendo games since the beginning. I have Nes, Snes, N64, and Gamecube all daisy chained together. I can turn them off and on whenever I want to play an older game without downloading VC games. I have downloaded a few games I do not own. As for games I do not like, I just stay away from first person shooter type games. I'm thinking of selling a few Wii games I never play since Gamestop is offering such a good deal. I have never sold a game EVER. I joined this site just to brag about SPM. I can't post anything but do quick reply.

I agree. I don't like the whole flipping thing, and swinging the controller everytime you want to use your sword seems tiresome. You also can't do the back-flipping off your horse, apparently. GC version ftw. A few games that aren't really worth the money would have to be Disney Sing It (got bored after about an hour) Sonic and the Black Knight (the only fun part is when you have your boost gauge full, and the gameplay is lame and frustrating.), and SWTCW Republic Heroes wasn't as good as I was hoping for.

red steel 1, What was ubisoft thinking? it looked pretty lame ,the physics where hilarious, it was duper buggy(including a save corrupting bug!),combat terrible ,simple and no true bosses(thugs with different patterns ,more hp and reskinned) and more. But im still getting 2 since is a whole different game that only shares the namesake. After all, ubisoft can pull decent stuff .

Bad as in didn't live up to my expectations? only one game comes to mind. No More Heroes 2. I was hoping that technologically it would be decently upgraded, and instead, we were forced to choke down one of the WORST cameras i have ever had to deal with. the game itself was fun, but the camera completely killed the experience for me. a mix of the camera and taking away any sense of exploration, not to mention the lack of side-missions. it just feels like a total downgrade from the first game, which wasnt even that braggable to begin with.

I think I like Animal Crossing because you have to collect things. I have always collected things. I collect Nintendo Consoles, their magazines and their games. If you fish in Animal Crossing you can buy lots of things and collect a lot of things. It is fun. Unfortunately I can't get a friend to play with me, so my mic goes unused. I just play with the critters in the game.

Wii Play, Disaster: Day Of Crisis, Nights, Sonic Secret Rings, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles I thought were all garbage unfortunately.

Madworld, de Blob weren't as good as I was hoping, both got repeatative quickly.

Slightly disappointed in Little King's Story not using the pointer, and Mario Kart Wii being too random.

The rest of my Wii games I really like :)

I'm going to get killed for this one, but I don't care.

Super Paper Mario. WAY too much reading, and once you've finally gotten into the game, it's really nothing special. And it's just creepy how Mario and luigi keep calling each other "bro."

I hate that game.

And I didn't really enjoy Deadly Creatures, either.
