i was watching the nintendo press conference and Reggie was talking about the wii and online and i got excited like he was about to announce something big like wii live or a microphone in the wii-mote but no all he said was "what if we already have and you just havent noticed":question: what is that dont ever tell us that we havent noticed then he shows off games that we already knew were online like the Ea sports games and few others but are you serious thats all you can come up with i bought the wii for what it can do to improve gaming but all your doing is getting retirement home people to play wii bowling. so im selling my wii whoever wants it tell me and Sony here i come.:DSeabra23

Yeah... he kinda dropped the ball there.. .Then picked it up when he finally started name games coming with online. I actually didn't know third parties were going to join in on the online this year. And Mario Kart was a nice surprise.

I'm surprised though that he didn't mention Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3's online features. At this point they really need to mention every online game they have coming.

Yeah, it kinda doesn't make sense. If you all over online, get a 360. Or just wait for more online suport for the WII, cuz the PS3 isn't much better at this point that the Wii.

Well.... Halo 2 is fun, and I agree about online being a more important part of a game now a day.... But I'm not to sure if Halo 2 can really serve as a good as example when over half of the players in that game I've played with are annoying as hell. Half the reason being that most of them haven't grown up..... Like elementary school children. It's pretty ridiculous.

Gears has less of it, but I gotta admit theres still alot of unwanted kids there.

Well, some people really aren't good with first person shooters. I know alot of people who have alot of trouble getting use to the dual analog controls of an FPS and it's understandable. It's hard for beggininers. I remember the fist time I played Halo and it tok me a while to get used to the controls. Actually it took me like three days to finally master it.

And some people really don't have the patience or time to figure it out. So it shouldn't really mater if someone is willing to or not to play games like Halo.

i think his point was that people where using the online service with out really thinking of it as being an online service. In other words they where serious about online from the start and supported it in unconventional ways on the console. People used those ways, but in retrospect where only thinking about the type of use by where you play against an opponet.
