I would say not to ban him. He's still a character in the game. If you can MK then Snake or whoever the 2nd best character in the game will be the best and people will complain about him. It will just be the same until Brawl is a battle only with like 2 crappy characters.
me and zuma had a bit of a disagreement about this before. (at least i think it was zuma..)
my perspective has slightly changed though. i dont think its right to ban a character because of the player using him "the wrong way", but theres no way around it.you cant look at a spammer and say "you cant use him that way".. so as much as i hate to say it, i have to support the ban on Metaknight in tourneys.

That is true, not every gamer has a good fighting style and they spam moves to win, I have seen that a lot of times the only thing you can do to avoid that is not to play with that dude again, if not live with that
