I certainly hope so. There is definately a strong chance that there could be one released for Wii since Monolith Soft is second party to Nintendo. Though they still have to finish Disaster Day of Crisis before anything like that.
The Wii really needs some RPG titles so after Disaster Day of Crisis is made I really want Monolith Soft to start making a new Batan Kaitos, Xenosaga (there is one for the DS), or even a new RPG series.
I wonder what will happen with Baten Kaitos...I hope Nintendo picked up the franchise when it bought Monolith, otherwise I'm going to say that it won't happen. And if it did happen it wouldn't be made by Monolith.

Monolith Soft developed Baten Kaitos, so why wouldn't Nintendo have Monolith Soft make another. Namco only published the firts Baten Kaitos and Nintendo published the sequel. I would also think that Nintendo would owns the righs to Baten Kaitos when they bought Monolith Soft.
I haven't heard anything about it, but isn't the developer supposed to be working on some other project for the Wii? I thought I heard that somewhere, but unfortunately don't remember where. I think it's supposed to be an RPG too.

In fact they do own the rights to the Baten Kaitos series.
