Battalion Wars 2 is one of the best games on Wii!

I recently bought Battalion Wars 2 and I just beat it yesterday. It's now one of my favorites on Wii. The controls are great; commanding the battalion is fun and I love the various artillary (Battlehound FTW!). The visuals are very crisp, with great smoke effects and polished character and weapon models. The water is particularly impressive. Finally, I love the music! It's epic and fits and the game's style perfectly.

All in all, this is a great game that I HIGHLY recommend! Heh, and I haven't even played the on-line mode yet. :lol:

Heh, I haven't even played the first game. I've read in reviews that Battalion Wars 2 is a little easier than the original. To me, it had about the right difficulty level. Fairly challenging, though not frustrating. :)

I did get stuck on a couple of levels though and I had to get help on GameFAQS. Heh, one level in particular, called "Scorched Earth." :P

It's a decent game but I wouldn't call it the best. I had trouble selecting enemy units in the heat of battle and the AI is still lacking.

Overall it's not a bad game but not worth more than a rental.

I played the first one and it was kinda boring, i was thinking about getting BWii but it doesn't seem to have much changes from the first, the only thing that is pushing me to buy it is the water, i must see why everyone is praising the damn water SuperMario_46

Dam, i love the Advanced wars series and even though this is Waaay different, id still like to try it. I guess it'll come to Aus when it comes to Europe because we're classified as the same region.
