Battalion Wars 2 Release Date

According to the latest Nintendo power, Batallion Wars 2 will launch on September 24th. Yikes...very close to Halo 3. I wonder if Halo 3 will affect sales at all? I mean, I know BW isn't the most popular game out there, but still, I think it could sell fairly well for Wii. http://www.nintendojo.com/infocus/view_item.php?1180377569

Yeah...I know it won't affect Halo's sales.  I was just wondering if Halo would affect BW's sales. 

1) Its not fake.

2) Halo will/might affect Bwii's sales but it will definitely not be the other way around.

Yea, most of the fans of the Halo franchise are now shifting to Gears' fanbase.

 do the vast majority of wii owners also own a 360? I mean I know the Wii60 thing is somewhat popular but I didn't think it was that high to make a big impact. 

meh, games on differant platforms don't tend to affect each other as much as people would imagine

it's games on the same platform, that's why third parties are annoyed with the first parties, but it's just cos they're not as good really

Well so far there hasn't been a great first-party game for the Wii yet. Certainly nothing as good as The Godfather, Sonic, or Trauma Center.

Nintendo has mostly gone the way of Ubisoft so far, shoveling us their GameCube ports and rejects. This *should* change with Metroid Prime 3 and hopefully BWii.

Back on topic, I don't have a 360 and I definitely plan to get Battalion Wars 2.. I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't care about stupid Halo and the 360.

Regardless of how you feel about the beta, you do realize that Halo 3 will sell phenomenally well, right? Nobody can do anything to stop the force that is Halo.
