Can I play my DS/DSi while I charge the battery? And is it bad?

There's nothing wrong with that. I've done that with all the gameboys I ever had.

When I'm playing a game and thelight turns red, I just plug it in andcontinue playing. The only difference is that it will take longer to charge fully, that's all.
