A year ago, I sold my DS Phat since it was giving me some problems. And for almost a year, I missed out on so many DS games that I always wanted to play someday. Now that I finally have a DSi (and a Lite), I can now enjoy these games.

The bad news is I missed out on these games. But the great news that more than makes up for this loss is the price some of these games are going for now! For example, I just picked up Peggle Dual Shot, Henry Hatsworth, and Legend of Kage 2 for all under $20. And there are so many other great games that are going for cheap now. Summon Night Twin Age, Dragonball Origins, and Bangai-O is $15, Lock's Quest, Chrono Trigger, and Moon are $20, and some stores like Frys sells Final Fantasy CC Ring of Fate for $15, Final Fantasy CC Echoes of Time and Avalon Code for $25!

I think the DS has great titles that are very affordable and satisfying. Like Legend of Kage 2 and Peggle Dual Shot. So cheap with so much value.

I got chrono trigger and all castlevania games for only 50$ at my game store. DS games can be really cheap sometimes and it's great :)

Do you know why I didn't list TWEWY on my post even when I know it's $20 now? Take a guess. ;)
I hated it. I bought it when it came out. Biggest waste of $40 and most overrated DS game ever!
Wow, what a coincidence! I just came back from Fry's andI was amazed by how low their prices were. FFCC Echoes of Time for $25?! I've never seen that game for less than $35 anywere else. And I nearly bought Chrono Trigger myself for $19.99. Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise was also pretty tantalizing at $19.99.

As it is, I came home with Summon Night for $15.99 and TrackMania for $13.49. I might go back for Chrono Trigger or EoT later, though.

So far, I think Frys is the best for DS games. They're cheaper and they have a vast selection. I got Avalon Code, FFCC Echoes of Time, for $25 (which is very cheap), and Nanostray 2 for $10, which is the best SHMUP on the DS.

These are fair good prices, considering $E priced Chrono Trigger $40,00. Too expensive for a port of an old game.

Bleach Blade of Fate is under $20, Guitar Hero On TOur is $20. More gemes @ or under $20 at Gamestop include:

Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood

Naruto Path of Ninja 2

Moon

Two different Harvest Moon games

Space Invaders Extreme

N+

And all kinds of other kick a** games. I searched Gamestop.com for games under $20 for the DS and it brought up 747 results. There's probably a game for everyone in there.

You might like the DS game called Front Mission. It's a turn based strategy game involving customizing your mechs. I played the super nintendo version long time ago, it was OK, but you might want to review it to see if you might like it. It was $20 btw.
