Best Buy or Toys R Us?

I am going hunting for my second Wii this sunday (it's for my nephew), I know that Circuit City is going to have some this sunday but if just in case I can't get one there, Best Buy and Toys R Us open both at 11:00 am, which store do you recommend me to go first? 

Thanks in advance!

P.S. My plan is the following: Taget at 8:00 am, then Circuit City at 10:00am and then the debate between BB and TRU.

I'd give both stores a call ahead of time, and see if they will even have any in stock at all.

I don't trust the clerks, I have heard cases that the clerks tell people that call the store that they don't have any in stock and when you go to the store they magically have them!

Well it's your time that you're wasting, I called ahead and got my Wii fine. Since you aren't willing to call, it really doesn't matter which other store to go to, since it depends on the specific branch when they will get them in.

I have to agree with you on this one, all the clerks, no matter what store turn into the biggest jackasses and play dumb when they hear the "wii" word. I live in a college town and it was impossible to pick one up in the store. If it were me, I would go to TRU first. I heard they were more organized in distributing their wiis. My best buy is always busy and overwhelmed with the consoles. However it may be the opposite in your town. Personally I ordered mine and avoided the lines and retailers.

pff go to best buy. u get better deals. thats how comp usa went out of business. they couldnt compete with the deals fry's and best buy were offering. Stick to the pro's. screw toys r us.

It's not like he's going to get a deal on a Wii, they are essentially the same price everywhere, it's a matter of if you can find one or not.

Go into the stores and ask, you are told to say no over th phone, but you can tell the truth to those in the store.

Stay away from Best Buy.  They are a corrupt company that just got busted for price scams with a secret in-store pricing webpage .  Check that link for more info.  I personally refuse to support that kind of sh*tty behavior!

Well thank you guys! I will try TRU first, I got my first Wii in Best Buy on launch day and everything was well organized, I went this past sunday to BB and they didn't have any so I guess I will give the benefit of the doubt to TRU this sunday, if I don't find one first in Target and Circuit City!

My town doesn't have a TRU or a BB.  We have EB, Walmart, Target, and CC.  The EB says they'll be getting them in around the beginning of next month.  Target says this sunday.  *shrugs*  I guess I'll just keep calling to check in.

Where do you live? Because I have purchased 4 Wiis in the past two weeks from Nintendo world in NYC. No i am not profitting, i bought them for my cousins that are out of state and can't find them. Only once did I go in and they did not have them in stock. So if you are in the NYC area, stop by Nintendo World by rockefeller plaza, near where the christmas tree is if it were christmas.

Well obviously the Nintendo world store would get units every day if they possibly can. The Sony owned store chain got ps3s when they were still being scalped in droves on ebay of course you can find tons of PS3s now everywhere.

I asked BB and EB today, and they both said beginning of April. Is it true that some stores are getting it this Sunday? I need to get one, because my wife keeps bugging me to get one.
