best ds lite color?

Prefer the white aswell.

 White doesn't show finger prints/smudges (like black does) and just like the look of the white better.

I got a white one, then I gave that to my brother for his birthday.  I picked up a black one for myself instead, only for the sake of differentiation.  I am impartial to either colour.

 To be frank, I really have no preference. White shows little scratches and smudges on the surface, but it can get dirty (particularly the shoulder buttons yellowing themselves and the rubber bumps at the bottom cover darkening due to dirt).

The black one is infamous for its smudges though, and the smudges look REALLY bad, at least to me... The white one doesn't have any.  However, the Black Onyx doesn't get as dirty as easily as the white one , if hardly at all.  Both are equipped with ArmorLite shields, so scratches, dirt or smudges are instantly overcome when they are protected in such way.  I have little to no concern nowadays regarding their visual appearance.  Besides, I prefer my own custom templates I make through Photoshop over the bland logo design imprinted on the surface of the DSLite anyday. so putting my own custom templates on it hides the the smudges the black or white DSLite would receive.

As soon as I get my Hori screen protectors, I'll show you a sample design I've made for my Black DSLite and a template for the White one my brother now has.  I'll post it on a separate thread however.  You guys would think twice about selecting colors when you can customize your very own images instead ^^.

i dont think the colour really matters because its just a color but i like all of them so if ones not there get the other one

Why no pink?  Pink's great; you don't get yellowish buttons like in the White one and you don't get yellowish touch screens like with the Black one; pink FTW!

Otherwise...it's up to you.  I've heard (and experienced) that there are problems with some black DS Lites; a bad L-button, a yellowish touch screen, cropped screens, etc.  The only problem I have with my White Lite is the fact that the L and R buttons get a bit yellowish over time, even though I actually wash my hands every time before I play.

EDIT - Oh yeah, it's easier to see smudges on the black Lite, but in my opinion Black looks cooler than white...it's up to you :)

I couldm't see having any other color but black. White is to boring, and pink is for girls. Don't listen to people when they say the white one has a brighter screen, because it doesn't. Thats just that poor saps eyes (and mind) playing tricks on him. No matter what color you get, the screen will be the same. No brighter and no dimmer. I will say you can see fingerprints easy on the black, but thats easy to remove. And the black has a nice glossy shin to it also.l-_-l
