I'd say pokemon even though i only played blue/red/yellow. That was a long time ago, so I can't recall any of the game's pro and cons; I loved the game to the point that I played it for over 100 hrs in total to get all 150 (i think there was 151), and I was able to recite all of them in order.
Definately Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. It's also rated as the best GBA game here at Gamespot I think! The game is so deep, long, big and there are so many small details that all games should have. The DSS system is amazingly well done and is alot of fun. It's probably one of the best handheld games I have ever played.wapahala
I just finished playing that game...it was pretty amazing. The final boss battle was really challenging because you couldn't buy items in the game and I beat Dracula with no potions.
On topic, my favorite handheld games include Wario Land 3, Pokemon Gold/Silver, Metroid Zero Mission, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, Super Mario World, and Advance Wars. I can't only choose one :D.
