I'd like to hear a bit about your favorite experience with the 3D effect thus far. It could be a specific moment in one game, or it could be a specific effect over a whole game, or just peculiarities or anything you'd like to share about your best experience with the 3D on.

For me, I have to say my favorite 3D moment so far has been in Sakura Samurai during the opening of the game... The 3D effect just makes it so gorgeous!

Any specific sections or wow! moments, or just overall 3d effect for those games?

Dodging lightning in the second (?) stage of Kid Icarus: Uprising. Freaking sweet.

Don't listen, Pilotwings is a good game, but the 3D effect is terribly done.

out of the games I've played, Pilotwings Resort has the most impressive 3D effect. It just goes far deeper than everything else and it actually enhances the gameplay becuse depth perception is quite improtant to success.

Super Mario 3D Land has a few sections in the game that are great in 3D. It's the only 3DS game where I enjoy playing with the 3D on.

Rayman 3D and Super Mario 3D Land benefit greatly from the added depth perception, being 3D platformers and all. Pilotwings is also very good for 3D. Without 3D mode on it is more difficult to judge your position in relation to other objects in the air.

Mario 3D Land, probably (popped in rather than popped out), particularly in the levels where you're leaping down great distances to the next platform. You get a fantastic sense of where Mario is in 3D space. Other levels look good too but they aren't mindblowing or anything. Dead or Alive is probably the worst, particularly with its cutscenes. You can tell it was lazily done as the character models frequently pop out of the screen but clip into the edge, completely destroying the illusion of 3D. And it doesn't help that even at maximum settings the effect is still too subtle. Plus, during gameplay it halves the framerate.

I don't know what you're talking about. Pilotwings(especially in the criminally underused flying squirrel suit) has fantastic 3D visuals.
Tales of the Abyss 3D (Overall)CosmicCucco
Now that one is bad. It's like the people who converted it to 3D didn't fully understand how 3D works. All they did was double the image and slide it over to one side. It gives the game a little pop, but it doesn't change the perspective in order to give it slight difference between the two images that makes true 3D. Tales of the Abyss is the only game I own that I only play in 2D mode. As far as my favorite 3D experience, I'd actually have to give that to the 3DS camera- taking stop motion videos in 3D is one of my favorite 3DS time sinks.

In OoT, the cutscene about how the world is created with the three goddesses who created the triforce. The blue "rain" falls down and it actually looks like it's coming out the the screen. I flinched when I first saw it with the 3D, which surprised me. I don't really notice the 3D effect being anything special. The cutscene plays multiple times in the game so a second time I handed it to my friend. She did the same thing.

Also, the little light specks in Kokori Village. Yeah.

I agree about the cutscenes in Dead Or Alive Dimensions but I think the 3D effect during gameplay is fantastic and it is still the smoothest looking fighter on the 3DS even with a halved framerate (comparing it to Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition and Tekken Prime which I also own).

Super Mario 3D Land and also found that some of the 3D effects in Resident Evil: Revelations looks pretty crisp in some of the cut scenes.

Pusho/Pullbox looks great in 3D. The effect helps you solve puzzles and the colourful graphics really pop out at you.

Super Mario 3D Land also looks great and the 3D can help you judge jumps and things like that, though I find it a bit distracting during the harder sections of the game. My eyes would lose focus at the worst possible moment and then I'd miss a jump. I had to turn off the 3D for the tough bits.

Also, RE: Revelations is not only one of the best looking 3DS games, it also uses 3D very well. As someone else mentioned, the cutscenes inparticular look very nice. It also gives you the option to enhance the 3D even more. I've been told it looks nice, but the 'super 3D' was too much for my eyes to handle :P

Tekken Prime 3D (Pop-out and depth; fights are beautiful in 3D and the text have a nice little pop-out effect) Super Mario 3D Land (Pop-out mostly; there was this one stage where having Mario jump would make it seem like he was jumping out of the screen) Resident Evil Revelations (Depth mostly; overall the game is just beautiful to look at and having extra depth made it extra great to look at)
