Best pure FPS is Medal of Honor Heroes 2. Metroid Prime 3 is great but it's not all shooty shooty, it has puzzles and stuff like that. There's also, Call of Duty 3, Medal of Honor Vanguard, Red Steel and Far Cry, but I wouldn't really reccomend doing more than renting those. The next FPS coming out that could be good is Brothers in Arms Double Time, then Call of Duty 5, BiA is out late August and Cod around November.
MOH 2 is a great game. The single player is all right but the Multiplayer is the BEST on the Wii. Trust me its alot of fun. Metroid Prime 3 is the opposite, awsome single player(although its more adventure alot of the time than shooting) but no multiplayer. I would try to get them both but if you can only get one then i would have to give MOH 2 the slight edge if multiplayer is your thing.

Have you even played MOH:H 2??? IDK if MP3 counts as an FPS because its primarily an adventure game, but my favorite FPS is MOH:H2 and my favorite SHOOTER is MP3
redsteel has splitscreen when friends come over and when u have a brother to play against....its the best wii shooter.
moh is good for online only...but when friends come over....it gets tossed aside. when my bro n i wanna shoot each other in deathmatch....well, we're not buying another wii...so moh=phail.

yes its good for multiplayer...but for that id rather hook up the N64 and play PD
