I've heard some people say Yoshi in the Egg kart. My favorite right now too. One way to compare is to go to time trials and race various characters against your best 'ghost' and see who seems to go to the head of the class.
every1 has their own combos, its best try and find the 1 u like the most, the key thing is the karts are way more important than the drivers. the 1 i use is Bowser with Yoshi's Egg kart
I don't think there's any "best kart" or "best driver". If you prefer acceleration over speed, Dry Bones and his kart is a better choice for you than Bowser and his kart, for example.
The Driver has NO bearing on the kart's stats, so the Driver is entirely up to personal preference. I'd say Egg kart is the most balanced.Shirley_Temple
the driver may not afect the cart stats but a heavy driver can still knock people out of the way better than a light driver. that is why i use bowser with the tank so i can be fast but still knock people away if they try to pass me.
It is correct that the kart's stats affect the actual racing much more than the character, but the character does matter. While Bowser in the Dry Bomber will go the same speed on the track as Dry Bones, if Bowser were to go off-road he would slow down much more than Dry Bones would, even while snaking. Heavy people can knock lighter karts around, though.
I always use Dry Bones in his tank. It's a great combo for both snaking and non-snaking matches, due to excellent handling and acceleration. Plus, he's light, so he's alot faster off-road.
