Best Mario Game Story

Which Mario game do you think has the best story?? For me it´s a tie between Mario and Luigi Partners in time and Bowser Inside story!

Paper Mario: TTYD had an awesome story. Even though TTYD it's my favorite Mario game, I think Super Paper Mario's story was my favorite overall. It's funny, I didn't like SPM nearly as much as other PM games, but I like it's story the most.

Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars

I like the one where he rescues a princess.

Of all the Mario games I've played, none of them have ever really felt like there was a story. I always am really too focused on the awesome gameplay to worry about what's actually goin' on in Mario's home crib of the Mushroom Kingdom.:P

The Paper Series

I would say the old school "rescue the princess from Bowser" story which is New super mario bros.

I liked Sunshine believe it or not.

the original paper mario. after playing it again on VC i liked its story more than TTYD, and i find both of them to be more entertaining then the M&L games.

I agree. They kept the traditional "kidnapped Princess" factor in Paper Mario 2, but added a new twist.

All the Peper Mario games have good stories.
