Best mario series?

There's been many mario series's through the years and all of them great. Some of them are still going on. There's the "Mario & Luigi" series which started off with "Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga", with it's carry on "Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time" and the new game coming out called "Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story". Now this series is great (and even though you can't properly judge it because there's still a game that's not released yet, you get the idea of how the game would be by the previous games because the game play, style and graphics are pretty much the same) but is this your favourite series? Mine personally is the "Paper Mario" series. I know these two series's have the same RPG fighting style, but their still different series's. There's the first one onNintendo 64 (and you can also get it on Wii virtual console like me) called simply "Paper Mario" which I think is aclassic and thoroughly enjoyed playing this. Then there's "Paper Mario: The Thousand-year Door" on the gamcube and "Super Paper Mario" on Wii which has the 2D to 3D thing in thing in this game that I love and think very clever. Than obiously there's the mario kart,mario, mario golf, mario tennis and so on series's which are different. These aresports and not role playing like the other's, but I still like the mario kart series. So what do you guys prefer, mario and luigi or paper mario?

I have not played much of paper mario, so I'm going to say Mario and Luigi.

i'm going to have to say paper mario but mario and luigi is alaways fun to play. to bad none of them are as good as super mario rpg.

But bewteen these 2, the Mario and Luigis are better.

I'd have to say both. After all, the Mario & Luigi series was inspired by the Paper Mario series.

The main series would be the best with only 1 game (Sunshine) not being extraordinarily great.

Between these two I would have to say Paper Mario since I am currently addicted to Super Paper Mario.

What category is Mario Party under?

I think the Mario Sports serie is the best (Mario Kart, Mario Golf), since the main serie isn't on the list.

The major ones are my favorite but if I had to choose one it would have to be Paper Maio.

Out of those choices, paper mario is my favorite, but I do like Mario & Luigi a lot too.

Then again, I do like Mario Sports games too.

Both are great but PM gets my vote.

I put it as one yeah...but i'm not too sure. I just wanted to see about PMand M&L. Sorry.....

Man, I thought this would be a fight between the Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Worlds, Handheld Marios, and 3D Marios. Oh well. Anywyas, I like Super Paper Mario better, though from what I've heard the original Mario RPG destroys them both. Head_of_games

I was joking. I just said it because I know a lot of people hate those games, but I like them.
