Best MULTIPLAYER Minigame Game

What is the best Wii game for 2-4 players that would warrant a purchase? Wii Sports is kind of getting boring for my friends and I, and I figure it's time to pick up a new multiplayer game for my Wii.

What's the best game that would keep us entertained for long periods of time, and features multiplayer that's fun for different ammounts of people (sometimes I have one friend over, sometimes three, etc.)?

Graphics (or widescreen issues) are nota factor, nor is single player.

I'm considering Mario Party, but so many reviews have given terrible scores and criticism. Will we be able to look past its faults and truly enjoy the game?

People just hate it because, in their view, it's just more of the same, IMO.

in monkey ball, there are a ton of minigames, mostly terrible, but there aresome gems. In particular there are some withmultiplayer simultaneous action. Monkey race, and then this bumper cars one where you have to hit players from behind. And of course there is monkey wars. It's a FPS battle arena with 3 maps, 2 with complex structuresincluding tanks and flying saucers available for piloting, and then another basic one. There are turn based games as well. The only thing is that it is obvious that single player is the main feature. I can't speak for marioparty 8, but I dont think there are minigames other than monkey ball with simultaneous battlign.GunSmith1_basic

I agree, super monkey ball did have a few really fun games, but its not really worth getting over other party games if thats what your going for.

they are all wrong! dont get mario party or wario ware. i love multiplayers, but those to are for renting at best (i borrowed a friends, got bored, and have not played since)

that new Big Brain Academy is for up to 8 people, and i have found it to be the most fun at my parties. and let me tell you....combining that game with drinking has been a hit this summer!

I'd have to say WarioWare, Rayman: Raving Rabbids, or Mario Party 8. And yes, I own all of them.

I recommend WarioWare because you can have a party with only 1 WiiMote (up to 12 ppl) but there arent many simultaneous 4-player minigames, if thats what you're looking for.

I recommend Rayman: Raving Rabbids beacuse its just plain fun and funny but if you dont like smacking around some rabbits (or rabbids) then you shouldnt buy it. It also has a limited number of simultaneous 4-player minigames and you need 4 WiiMotes and Nunchuks, so i can get pretty pricey.

And finally i recommend Mario Party 8 because it has plenty of fun minigames and you don't need Nunchuks. I didn't care for the ratings this game got because I haven't played a Mario Party games since MP3. I even used this game in one of my classes' final exam ^_^

mp8 gets bad reviews because the regular board game is slow, boring, and overly random
the problem is you need to play this part to unlock everything
once unlocked just stick to the mini games
the mini games for mp8 are better than the other ones out there and good for the non hardcore gamers

maybe you will be better off waiting for mario strikers if your friends are more into games
