The best nintendo game ever ? well i can,t really decide on that we would need some experts. I have been playing nintendo games since i was 4 years old i completed mario 64 when i was 5 i i would rate that game 9 out of 10 now its 2010 and i have got new super mario bros wii thats what the games are like now. If i had to decide the best mario game ever it would be the old mario bros games for the gameboy. The mario games for the wii are good like mario party 8 mario bros wii and mario kart some mario games are good for gaming some are just good for fun. I guess that is me so ill see you guys around. :);)
I spent so many hours on that game, finding all of its secrets, enamoured with its infectious music and varied levels. It introduced Yoshi, a beloved character who has appeared in many games since. It introduced the Haunted Houses, maze like levels that featured several secret ways to progress through, opening up new paths. It introduced us to the light switches, which made a singular appearance in NSMBW as a tip of the hat to SMW.
There's just nothing wrong with Super Mario World. It took the fantastic game that was Super Mario Bros. 3, and made it better.
Ocarina foTime still holds up today except for maybe the graphics and is much better than any Zelda i have played and i have played them all except for Minish Cap and Link's Awakening (and cd-i zelda's). Plus i am not saying this from pure nostalgia as i first played it early last year.

The only people that say Zelda OOT are those that didn't have a super nes. Or those that only played ALTTP on the gameboy. Zelda for the 64 felt like a rushed game that lacked detailALTTP had.

This. But for the sake of actually choosing a different game for once, I'll also say Zelda NES, Chrono Trigger and A Link to the Past on the SNES, Perfect Dark for the N64, and Metroid Prime for the GCN.

Well, you're wrong in thinking that. A Link to the Past is my second favorite game on the SNES after Chrono Trigger, while OoT was my favorite game of that generation period. Therefore, OoT beats it out for me.
